Unwind & relax
After a day on the slopes, the residence bar and lounge area is the perfect place to chill out. Otherwise there is a wellness centre which features two hammams, a sauna and a swimming pool with swan neck jets to relax in. There's also a Deep Nature Spa with an outdoor hot tub offering mountain views, and massages and treatments that can be booked and paid locally.
Additional facilities
Located next to the entrance to the resort, in the Amara district of Avoriaz, the residences benefit from having ski in/ ski out access. Easily access the Portes du Soleil Ski Area featuring over 600k of slopes, which is great for all abilities - from complete beginners to advanced experts, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the vast amount of slopes easily connected by lifts.
As the resort is pedestrianised you can walk down to the resort centre, which is just a short stroll away from the residences - you can find a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, which is ideal for those on a self catering basis.
The L'Amara Apartments are offered on a self catering board basis, no meals are included however a supermarket and restaurants are a short walk away. With lovely apartments like these you may prefer not to always go out to eat, take advantage of our Huski food delivery service, it takes out the hassle of choosing what's for dinner.

With the use of stonework and wood, the interior has been furnished to a high standard and combines traditional and modern styles. Many of the apartments have fantastic views of the valley, nestled between mountains and the edge of the forest, the spacious and bright apartments are wonderful for relaxing at the end of a day of skiing.
Two bedroom apartments can sleep two to six people and are around 63-68m². Apartments have one twin bedroom and one double bedroom, and a living area with a double sofa bed. These apartments have a bathroom with shower head attachment, a separate shower room and a WC.
Three bedroom apartments can sleep four to eight people and are around 87-98m². Apartments have one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, and a living area with a double sofa bed. These apartments have a bathroom with shower head attachment, a separate shower room and two WCs, one of which is separate.

The Portes du Soleil is one of the world’s largest linked ski areas, with over 600km of slopes across the French-Swiss border.
The purpose built, snow sure resort of Avoriaz is the highest in the Portes du Soleil. appealing to skiers and boarders of all abilities with slopes such as the best blue run in the area, Abricotine, and Coupe du Monde being the best black run with great views.
Once you are on the mountain, the Stash snow park provides fun for the whole family, found between the trees in a reforestation zone. It's made up of different ability level snow parks built with dead untreated wood which has been collected locally, so it blends into the landscape. There's a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars dotted around the resort, many of which serve local ingredients and French-origin products and most buildings are designed to conserve heat, and with the use of solar panels generate energy too.
