Inghams introduces it's popular ski hosting service in Italy.

Leading ski tour operator Inghams is introducing a number of exciting new additions to its 2017/18 winter programme. Highlights include four new resorts, the reintroduction of its popular Ski Hosting service in Italy, and flexible holiday durations including an extended programme of short ski breaks to some of Europe’s top resorts in Switzerland, France and Austria. New flight routes to Klagenfurt and Ivalo will serve Bad Kleinkirchheim in Austria and Saariselkä in Lapland. This winter also marks the 20th anniversary of Inghams holidays to Finnish Lapland and, to celebrate, Inghams has extended its winter programme, which will run up until Easter 2018.

 

INGHAMS ADDS FOUR NEW RESORTS TO ITS WINTER 17/18 SKI PROGRAMME
For the coming winter season, Inghams has expanded its ski programme in Italy and France with the introduction of four new resorts, including:

Claviere, ITALY (1,760m)
Claviere is a delightful village and is Italy’s oldest ski resort. Located on the French border, just minutes from Montgenèvre, it’s well linked to the fantastic Milky Way ski area, offering quick access to 400km of piste. The local ski area also offers beginner-friendly skiing. Inghams is offering seven nights on a half board basis at the three-star Hotel Clari from £729 per person in January 2018.

 

Livigno, ITALY (1,820m)
An old friend of Inghams, Livigno is re-joining its ski programme for this winter. Boasting extensive, high altitude skiing with low resort prices due to its duty-free status, this flourishing resort welcomes intermediate skiers and offers a wealth of winter entertainment and fantastic shopping. Inghams is offering seven nights on a half board basis at the four-star Hotel Amerikan from £829 per person in January 2018.

 

Pila & Aosta, ITALY (1,800m)
Pila is a hidden gem that offers snow-sure skiing in a magical terrain, with rarely over-crowded pistes and an easy-to-navigate ski area, ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. A 20-minute cable-car links Pila with historic Aosta, for those who wish to venture further afield. Inghams is offering seven nights on a half board basis at the three-star Hotel Lion Noir from £799 per person in January 2018.

 

Les Menuires, FRANCE (1,815m)
Boasting convenient doorstep skiing at the foot of La Masse, Les Menuires provides some of the best access to the Three Valleys with an affordable price tag. Beginners and intermediates can find a large choice of runs to choose from and advanced skiers can enjoy non-pisted terrain and the BK snow park. Inghams is offering seven nights on a self-catering basis at the four-star Résidence Le Coeur Des Loges from £569 per person in January 2018.

 

INGHAMS REINTRODUCES ITS POPULAR SKI HOSTING SERVICE IN ITALY
One of the highlights of a ski holiday for many Inghams guests is to join their Rep and fellow holidaymakers on a sociable ski day out. Inghams is pleased to announce the reintroduction of its fantastically popular, complimentary ‘Meet The Pistes’ service in many resorts across Italy, including in Livigno, one of Inghams’ new resorts for Winter 17/18. Following the continued success of the service in other resorts in Switzerland, Austria and Canada, Inghams is dedicated to enhancing guests’ holiday experiences by sharing its expertise on the mountain – through this service, Reps can show new guests around and help them plan their week with tips on the best ski runs and mountain restaurants. The complimentary service adds value to the guests’ holidays and is ideal for friends, couples or single travellers who are red-run competent and looking to make the most of their time on the mountain!

 

INGHAMS INTRODUCES A RANGE OF NEW PARTNER HOTELS AND TWO NEW CHALETS TO ITS WINTER 17/18 SKI PROGRAMME
Inghams has added a range of new partner hotels across its ski programme, including in Morzine and Val d’Isère in France; in Selva, Val di Fassa, Corvara, Gressoney, Bardonecchia and Sauze d’Oulx in Italy; Saas Fee, Grindelwald and Zermatt in Switzerland; and Lech, Mayrhofen, Saalbach & Hinterglemm, Söll and Zell am See in Austria. It has also introduced a selection of luxury partner hotels in Lapland, Zell am See, Zermatt and Kitzbühel, as well as two new chalets to its popular chalet programme:

Chalet Linda in Kitzbühel, Austria
Sleeping 28 – 37 guests, cosy Chalet Linda is located just six minutes' walk from the Hahnenkamm Gondola and ski school meeting point in the world-renowned resort of Kitzbühel, which boasts an excellent range of skiing for all to enjoy. Inghams is offering seven nights on a catered board basis (including buffet breakfasts, afternoon tea and cake, and three-course evening meals with complimentary wine for six days) at the three-diamond Chalet Linda from £644 per person in January 2018.

Chalet Marlène in Tignes, France
Chalet Marlène’s greatest asset is its fabulous views from the living room. Sleeping up to eight guests, the chalet has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, now boasting a modern mountain style. It’s located just five minutes’ walk from the Tovière gondola and the centre of Tignes Le Lac. The lifts can also be reached via the Chardonnet drag lift, only 220m away, and skiing back to the chalet couldn’t be simpler, via an easy off-piste route. Inghams is offering seven nights on a catered board basis (including buffet breakfasts, afternoon tea and cake, and four-course evening meals with complimentary wine for six days) at the four-diamond Chalet Marlène from £759 per person in January 2018.

Star Arctic Hotel in Saariselkä, Lapland
Due to open in December 2017, the five-star Star Arctic Hotel will bring luxury accommodation to Saariselkä this winter. Located in a scenic position above the village, guests will be able to enjoy the use of a public sauna, modern restaurant and bar with cosy fireplace, whilst large glass windows will adorn every room, offering uninterrupted views across the arctic wilderness. All rooms are duplex suites sleeping two – four people, with the option to upgrade to a luxury suite with private sauna or a glass cabin. Prices start from £1,479 per person for seven nights on a half board basis, including return flights from Gatwick or Manchester to Kittilä, or NEW direct flights to Ivalo from Gatwick, and airport transfers.

 

Salzburger Hof in Zell am See, Austria
The luxury five-star Salzburger Hof is Zell am See's leading hotel – everything about the hotel is first-class including its award-winning cuisine (two Gault Milau Toques) and impressive spa area spread over three floors, which offers a new rooftop sauna. The centre of town is less than five minutes’ walk away, allowing convenient access to the Zell am See – Kaprun ski area. Hotel National in Zermatt, Switzerland
The four-star superior Hotel National, set in a quiet location opposite the Sunnegga lift and with a bus stop just outside, has been named the friendliest hotel in Zermatt for its outstanding service, culinary offerings and attention to detail. Most rooms treat guests to views of the Matterhorn and the wellness centre is a wonderful oasis of calm and tranquillity, offering a luxurious alpine experience. Schloss Mittersill in Kitzbühel, Austria
The four-star superior luxury Schloss Mittersill spa hotel is a converted 12th Century castle, perched in an exclusive setting above Kitzbühel with views over the city of Mittersill. The public areas have been beautifully designed to bring out the best in the castle building, recognising its historical roots. The hotel, located 5km from the ski lifts, runs a complimentary private shuttle service, permitting hassle-free access to the Kitzbüheler Alps. IN CELEBRATION OF ITS 20TH YEAR IN FINNISH LAPLAND, INGHAMS EXTENDS ITS WINTER PROGRAMME UNTIL EASTER 2018
Inghams is pleased to announce the extension of its winter season in Levi and Ylläs, with seven night holidays running up until Easter 2018 (1st April). New direct flights from London Gatwick to Ivalo (from 17th December 2017 – 3rd March 2018) will shorten the transfer to Saariselkä to just 20 minutes, saving two-and-a-half hours in travelling time. Inghams’ three and four night Santa Breaks have also been extended to now include departures from the 26th November 2017 right up until Christmas, with direct flights from Bristol, Manchester and London Gatwick.

INGHAMS EXPANDS ITS SHORT BREAKS PROGRAMME FOR WINTER 2017/18
Inghams has expanded its short breaks programme this winter to include many resorts in Austria, Switzerland and France. Guests can stay in one of Europe’s top resorts including Kühtai, Mürren and Chamonix, and can pre-book their lift passes, equipment hire and tuition through Inghams at the time of booking. Inghams is offering three nights on a half board basis at the three-star Hotel Alpenruh in Mürren, Switzerland, from £637 per person (valid for travel 14th – 17th January 2018).
