In a stunning location with mountain views and overlooking Lake Bohinj, Hotel Jezero is just metres from the start of the many mountain paths and close to the famous bridge and pretty church the resort is famous for.

The atmosphere at Hotel Jezero is relaxed and welcoming and the staff are helpful, friendly, and happy to share local knowledge. The hotel also has its own à la carte restaurant which has a conservatory, summer terrace, winter garden and a café which is known for its good selection of wine. At the end of a day spent exploring this beautiful region, you can saunter into the village or enjoy the heated swimming pool, gardens and fitness room.

Bedrooms are comfortable and have large bathrooms, seated balconies and full amenities.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour from Ljubljana airport or 3 - 4 hours (traffic dependant, including a stop) from Salzburg airport.

Lake Bohinj

Lake Bohinj offers a wealth of walking and cultural experiences. Take the cable-car up to Mount Vogel at 1,530m and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the lake or follow Sava Bohinjka river down into the valley. The forests and meadows with their alpine flora and fauna, the waterfalls and caves, the hamlets with their local churches, stone bridges and typical Alpine style houses, will make for an unforgettable holiday experience in Lake Bohinj. Whilst walking along meadows enjoy the alpine flowers or take a relaxing boat ride on the lake, go fishing, and don’t forget to try one of the local delicacies, such as Bohinjski sir (cheese).

Visit one of the most visited sites in Slovenia, and world-famous Postojna Caves and travel on the "cave train" to really enjoy on of worlds largest cave system and finish by visiting the nearby enchanting and mysterious Predjama castle with a vast history.
