Known affectionately as ‘Pas’, the lively frontier town and mountain pass of Pas de la Casa (2100m) – with direct links to Grau Roig - is in north-eastern Andorra and close to the French border. so there’s a distinctly French ambience. It’s not only the highest of the Andorran resorts, but the entire Pyrenees, with slopes as high as 2640m, and has a correspondingly good snow record! The resort usually remains open until the end of April. Pas was the first mountain village in Andorra to develop its potential as a ski resort back in 1957. The nursery slopes are right in the traffic-free resort centre, offering a combination of easy slope access and superb value après-ski, with plentiful bars and restaurants. Snowboarders love it here, and have access to a park and a halfpipe.
