After a day spent out in the mountain air, there’s nothing better than slowing the pace and properly switching off. The Adler resort’s wellness area is a lovely place to do just that, with a sauna and steam room offering a peaceful spot to relax and warm up after a day on the slopes.

Gym facilities

If you like to keep active while you’re away, the on-site fitness room makes it easy to fit in a workout whenever the mood strikes. With a treadmill, cross trainer and weights machine on hand – plus lovely mountain views to keep you motivated – sticking to your routine feels a little more enjoyable.

Indoor and outdoor pool

Whether you’re soothing tired ski legs or simply taking some time to relax, the pools at Adler Resort are a real highlight. The indoor pool is ideal for a gentle swim, while the heated outdoor poolinvites you to sit back and soak up the sweeping views of the snowy scenery towards the Schattberg.

Kids’ facilities

Little ones are well looked after here too, with plenty to keep them entertained when they’re not out enjoying the snow. From the kids’ area with its play spaces and activities, to a cinema and fun-filled entertainment programme, there’s lots to help younger guests make the most of their stay.

Things to do in Hinterglemm

Hinterglemm is a great resort for enthusiastic night time skiers. The Unterschwarzachbahn and the freestyle Nightpark are open until 9:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. You can enjoy extending your ski day on the floodlit slopes with a valid daytime ski pass.

Enjoy an exhilarating paragliding flight and enjoy unique panoramic views of the Austrian Alps below you while ride from the sky to the ground.

Perhaps an unusual choice of activity for a winter sports holiday but the Saalbach Hinterglemm Sports Centre has excellent indoor tennis courts. Other fantastic facilities in the sports centre include a climbing tower and a natural ice rink where you can go ice skate or curling.

The action packed toboggan ride is a classic winter activity, and Hinterglemm is a great resort for tobogganing. The Reiterkogel is one of the largest runs in the resort with over 3.5km of piste – it’s great fun for all the family.

The Daytime sled run at Reiterkogel is open daily from 8.30 am to 4.15 pm.
Night sledding at Reiterkogel is open Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 4.15 pm - 9.30 pm with floodlight tobogganing possible until 10.30 pm.

Explore the mountains by foot and enjoy the serene alpine landscape by foot. There are around 140km of hiking trails to explore during the winter across Saalbach-Hinterglemm. 

Guided snowshoeing, and snowshoe equipment hire is available locally.
