About Hotel Ily

It's called the 'House of Happiness' for a reason. The Ily is a modern hotel right in the Euhcerts area of La Rosière. Best of all, you're just 100m from the nearest chairlift - wake up, click into your skis and coast right over to Italy for the day without wasting a single second. 

Ready for some serious 'me-time'? You'll definitely want to visit the NUXE Spa during your stay. This massive 420m² relaxation area is exactly what your body needs after a day on the slopes. Soak in the swimming pool or outdoor hot tub whilst taking in those stunning mountain and valley views, then thaw out from the winter chill in the sauna and hammam. Trust us, it's the perfect way to unwind. 

Every room features bright, natural décor and most come with balconies - so you can step out and take a deep breath of that crisp mountain air. If you're part of a larger group, the suites make travelling with friends and family easy. But if you really want to treat yourself, we'd recommend checking out the Prestige Suite - it comes with its own private terrace, amazing mountain views and a personal hot tub just for you.

Hotel Ily has a kids club during school holidays for the little ones between four and twelve. The club runs in the evening, and includes games, film screenings and a kids' playroom.

  • 50 metres to the bus stop; throughout the winter a free shuttle bus service runs every 15 minutes around the different parts of La Rosière. From Monday to Thursday, in the evening and until 11.30pm, a free mini-bus links the Place des Eucherts to La Rosière Centre.
  • The meeting point for ski school is at the bottom of the Roches Noires Chairlift - this can be accessed by taking the shuttle bus, there's a bus stop opposite the hotel.

Offered on a half board basis, the Hotel Ily has breakfast and dinner included.

The large bar and lounge area is a perfect spot to relax after a full day on the slopes. If you fancy a sweet treat after skiing, ''The Break'' serves delicious hot chocolate and cake until 5pm. 

A three-course evening meal is served in the hotel's restaurant, Le Bonami. The menu varies; however, fresh and local produce is used to create hearty winter dishes.

Superior mountain view rooms can sleep up to two people and are around 25-29m². These rooms can be made up as a twin or double, and have a balcony with mountain views. These rooms are also available for sole occupancy. Please call our Reservations team to book.

Family suites are around 58m² and sleep up to six people. These rooms have two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the second with bunk beds. There is a lounge area with a sofa bed,  suitable for two children or one adult, and two bathrooms.

Duplex suites are around 55m² and sleep up to four people. These suites are spread across two floors. There is a bedroom with a king-size bed and a living room with a sofa bed, suitable for two children or one adult. These suites also have a south-facing balcony with mountain views.

Mountain suites are around 65m² and sleep up to four people. These suites have one bedroom with a king-size bed and a living room with a sofa bed, suitable for two children or one adult. There is also a refrigerator in the bedroom and a balcony with mountain views.

Privilege suites are around 84m² and sleep up to six people. These suites have two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the second with twin beds. There is a lounge area with a sofa bed, suitable for two children or one adult, and a balcony with mountain views. 

Prestige suites are around 137m² and sleep up to eight people. These suites have three bedrooms, all with king-size beds. There is a lounge area with a sofa bed, suitable for two children or one adult. These suites also have a private terrace with mountain views and a hot tub.

Transfer time: approx. 2 hours 45 mins to 3 hours by coach

  • The transfer to La Rosière will stop as chose as possible to your chosen accommodation. In some cases there may be a couple of minutes' walk due to regulations on where coaches can stop
  • There is a traffic light system for the Tarentaise Valley. This system controls and slows down the traffic, stopping traffic sitting in dangerous places, like tunnels, where rocks can fall and to make snow clearing easier when it is snowing

Please note that transfer times may vary depending on weather conditions and traffic, particularly during peak season and French school holidays (French school holidays span 18 Dec 26 - 03 Jan 27, 06 Feb - 07 Mar 27 and 03 - 25 Apr 27).

Travel by train

We also have the Eurostar Snow Train which is bookable for 7 nights to La Rosière. Available between 20 December and 28 March 2026.

This is a train that departs and returns Saturdays with a much shorter transfer of 40 minutes from Bourg St Maurice railway station.

Panoramic Experience

Head up the Fort chairlift and walk along the metal walk way with incredible views panoramic views of the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass, Mont Blanc and surrounding mountain peaks.

  • From the bottom of the slopes in La Rosière Centre, take the Roches Noires Express chairlift then the Fort Express chairlift. 
  • From the bottom of the slopes in Les Eucherts, take the Eucherts Express chairlift then the Plan du Repos Express chairlift and then the Fort Express chairlift.

Appreciate the peaks of Mont Blanc from above and discover one of the Alpes most exhilarating terrains - all whilst experiencing an adrenaline rush you'll never forget. You'll be accompanied by a qualified instructor who will show you the summits for some truly panoramic views. 

The Too'n Ice Glisse ice rink offers up to 360m² for you to slip and slide on a pair of ice skates. The rink is open Sunday-Friday and there are ice skating lessons available on Tuesdays if it's your first time putting on a pair of skates. If you're feeling more competitive, on Thursday's you'll find ice hockey lessons - which are free with paid admission to the ice rink - and the rink even has bleachers, a sound system and light effects to make it all the more fun.  

Every Monday night, ESF ski school offers a torchlight descent down the mountain. You can ride your way down the slopes with a specially manufactured torch, that is also safe for children, and light up the night sky. There'll also be time for mulled wine and hot chocolate at the end of the evening - during the school holidays they even have fireworks. 

Snake Glisse

Add a thrilling twist to your winter holiday with Snake Gliss – a convoy of individual toboggans linked together like a snake.  After the lifts close, hop aboard a chain of specially designed sledges and wind your way down the snowy slopes of Les Eucherts, guided by a professional instructor.

Open to anyone aged 8 and over. Helmets and a valid lift pass are required.

Alpine Coaster

Thrill-seekers can take on the X‑TREME Luge in La Rosière – a mountain coaster that races through the forest with twists and turns on the way down.

Open throughout the winter season until approx. 7pm. Pay locally.

Go winter walking in La Rosière, with a wide choice of marked trails that are easy to access directly from the resort or via the chairlifts. With five lifts available to pedestrians, it’s simple to gain height and reach higher snowshoeing and walking routes, opening up even more of the mountain.

Once up on the slopes, you’ll find peaceful, well-defined paths with plenty of space to explore at your own pace, whether you’re out for a gentle stroll or a longer winter walk. For something a little different, local companies also offer guided snowshoe experiences, including atmospheric evening walks under the stars.

Trail maps are available from the tourist office, so it's easy to plan your route and discover the full network of winter walking options across the resort.
