The Holiday Club Apartments offer cosy and traditional accommodation in a central location. Each apartment is spacious and features modern kitchens and bathrooms, plus open plan living rooms with fireplaces - perfect for warming up after a day in the snow. These apartments are ideal if you and your family are wanting your own private, cosy base on your Lapland ski trip.

These apartments are part of the Holiday Club Spa Hotel, located perfectly in the centre of Saariselkä . Meaning all of the facilities at the hotel are really close for apartment guests. After a day of exploring Saariselkä , enjoy a hot chocolate in front of the fire at the hotel bar and lounge area or enjoy the wellness area.  The Holiday Club Spa has a range of facilities to keep the whole family entertained- have a dip in the indoor pool, soothe any aches or pains in the jacuzzi, or unwind in the traditional Finnish sauna. The apartments are offered on a self catering basis, each apartment has its own equipped kitchen so you can whip up tasty meals in the comfort of your own apartment. There is a local supermarket which is well stocked, and if you don't feel like cooking there is a variety of restaurants dotted around Saariselkä, many of which serve traditional Lappish dishes. You can also upgrade to half board at the Holiday Club Spa Hotel, where you can enjoy a seasonal dishes each day. Fuel up for the day at the buffet breakfast which features a continental offering as well as additional hot options. In the evenings you can enjoy a three course buffet style meal, there is a choice of mains, as well as a daily children's option and a salad bar.

Arctic skiing and activity holidays in Saariselkä

Saariselkä is Europe's most northern ski resort and is renowned for its excellent cross-country ski trails in the adjoining National Park. In Saariselkä there are over 200 kilometres of cross country ski tracks, 34 of which are illuminated - so you can make the most of these tracks despite the polar nights. The general ski area is spread across the Iisakkipää and Kaunispää fells and is best suited for beginners and intermediates. The ski schools here speak English and all of the slopes lead back to the same area in the valley where you'll be able to warm up in the café or by a campfire.

Apart from skiing, Saariselkä offers a range of winter excursions that'll make you Lapland holiday complete. There'll be plenty of opportunities for reindeer and husky sleigh safaris as well as snowmobiling, snow shoeing and many more exciting activities! The Holiday Club Apartments are on a self catering basis. Each apartment has its own equipped kitchen and dining table. The well stocked supermarket is around a ten minute walk (600 metres from the Holiday Club Hotel). Additionally there is a range of local restaurants in the resort (pay locally).

There is the option to upgrade to half board at the Holiday Club Spa Hotel. Enjoy a breakfast buffet with a range of hot and cold options served between 7-10am, and a three course evening buffet with a choice of dishes available from 4-8pm.
