About Hotel Seehof

Expect a warm welcome from the friendly staff here at the Hotel Seehof. Guest's have been welcomed into this historic building since 1869, making it one of the oldest hotels in Davos. The architecture has been carefully preserved and the interiors renewed and renovated beautifully.

The Seehof's location in Davos Dorf is one of its best assets. We like to make things easy, so we've partnered with the ski hire shop located within the hotel, so you wont have to go far if you decide to book equipment. From the hotel's equipment and boot room it's just a few minutes walk to the main Parsenbahn funicular for access to the Parsenn and Gotschna ski areas - so you'll be on the slopes in no time. You'll also be close to the centre of Davos Platz, where you'll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

Comfort, rest and relaxation are all on the cards when you stay at the Seehof, but the Bella Vita Spa should be your first stop when you get back from a big ski day - especially as the facilities are all included. The rooms have been thoughtfully renovated and have plenty of space for all the gear that comes with a ski holiday. We love the modern alpine style and comfortable beds.

Nothing beats warming up by the fire with your favourite drink or cocktail after a day on the slopes. The bar at the Seehof will not disappoint. The chic lounge area has comfy armchairs to sink into beside the open fire. They have an extensive drinks menu with everything from herbal teas, to fine wines and cocktails.

Discover Davos

Davos, a bustling town just up and over from the more genteel Klosters, is located in a spectacular valley with great views all around. You may know it as the famed annual World Economic Forum host, but there's plenty more to see and do in this friendly town. Enjoy world class skiing, winter walking, sledging or if you're lucky you can see the Swiss champions Hockey Club Davos at the towns ice rink.

With high-altitude skiing across six different areas, the linked Davos and Klosters region, includes the celebrated Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Pischa, Gotschna and Madrisa mountains. There's a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes - so there's something for skiers and boarders of all levels. We love the extensive Parsenn area, which has upwards of a hundred pistes, and amazing long runs all the way down to Serneus and Küblis - it's the key to the heart of the Davos-Klosters skiing, and the location for the legendary annual Parsenn Derby race.

Things to do in Davos

The first toboggan race took place in Davos back in 1883 and it's still really popular in the area. There are plenty of runs you can sled down including the 3.5 kilometre Rinerhorn toboggan run or the Schatzalp toboggan run - plus night sledding is available throughout the season.  Sleds can be rented for a local fee from the valley stations.

With 111 kilometres of marked walking trails in Davos, you'll have plenty of snow cleared routes to explore. The Hohe Promenade in Davos is one of our favourite gentle walks. Take the elevated promenade from amazing views over the town and the surrounding mountains.

When you're not on the slopes head to the Seehofseeli ice rink, it's right in the centre of Davos Dorf. You can enjoy skating, curling and even ice hockey.
