St.Notburga Trail -Join the trail along the forest valley and enjoy the superb views of the Achensee. The trail finishes at the Rodelhutte where you can get a well-earned drink. Inghams rep says:
A historical trail walk in Pertisau. St Notburga was an Austrian saint from modern Tirol. She is the patron saint of servants and peasants. The new trail was officially opened and consecrated by Father Heinz Kleinlechner on October 5, 2008. The trail's name "Dien-Mut-Weg" comes from Old High German and means "Courage to Serve" and was chosen in remembrance of Saint Notburga, the patroness of servants and peasants. The beautiful trail offers superb views and has little elevation change, there are several benches along the way offering a nice opportunity to rest and observe nature. We stop at each contemplation point during the trail. Join me to learn more about this fascinating patron of Tirol.
