The ski resorts in Finland are open from November to February on average each year. It may slightly vary depending on the snow levels each season.
Yes, though Lapland isn't the biggest area for skiing and snowboarding. Some of the resorts do have good areas for snowboarders such as Yllas has 2 snowparks and Saariselka has 2 freestyle parks.
Due to Finlands limited day-light hours, most skiing is done under flood-lit slopes so you can enjoy the runs even in the dark.
This can be done through your online My Booking or by getting in touch with Reservations on 02045 388944 or your Travel Agent. We would advise you to book your extras as early as possible to secure the best deals, as many offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time. Most extras can be added up until 4 days before departure. If you want to cancel pre-booked extras, this may incur an administration fee of £25 per person or even 100% loss – please contact your travel agent, or Reservations on 02045 388944.
