Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

Hotel Hanneshof sits proudly in the centre Filzmoos opposite the village square and a short five minutes walk to lift and nearest slope. Inside you will appreciate its character with a quirky reception and living area, tranquil water fountain and homely design. The large roman themed pool is visible through a large window.

As you descend down to the spa, a fresh aroma compliments the plant, stone and roman bath design. You will find two saunas, a steam room and a Jacuzzi. Connecting stairs grant you access the pool and there is a small gym making this a great place to unwind.

As you explore the hotel the paintings dotted around are a lovely touch. The grandfather was a sailer and painter so pictures of boats can be enjoyed.

After a day of adventure, you will feel at home in the extensive bar and lounge. The dining room has an authentic Austrian vibe and hearty food.

Filzmoos

Filzmoos is a truly idyllic mountain village where little has changed over the years. It has an excellent snow record, superb panoramic views  and downhill runs straight into the village. With its wide, quiet slopes, Filzmoos is ideal for families. There’s some lovely glade-skiing off piste, and cross-country enthusiasts can enjoy the 14 kilometre high-altitude Rossbrand trail. Nestling in between the Bischofsmütze and Dachstein mountains, the resort has much to offer both the skier and the non-skier - and wherever you ski, the slopes are usually uncrowded and lift queues non-existent. Après-ski is popular at a couple of bars and cafés in the village, such as the lively 'Happy Filzmoos' or the cosy 'Kenn-i-di' bar. Horse-drawn sleigh rides are possible through the forests to the romantic Unterhof and Oberhof huts.
