The new Hotel Panorama has an excellent location in Flaine, with its ski-in ski-out location it means you can easily explore the 145km of pistes that Flaine has to offer.

Great value

Enjoy an all-inclusive stay in this warm and welcoming hotel, where everything has been designed with families in mind. The benefit of being on an all inclusive basis means all your meals and drinks are included, you can fuel up for a day of exploring at the buffet breakfast and return for a bite to eat at lunch. Once the slopes have closed for the day you can sit back and relax with a drink and an après snack, often including sweet treats, and then get ready for the buffet dinner where there's a large choice of dishes for all tastes. The hotel also features a Savoyard themed restaurant which is by reservation only, so you can enjoy regional dishes.

Family friendly

Throughout the winter season there's also children's clubs hosted by the hotels own animation team, where the clubs are designed specifically for different age groups. The younger guests can enjoy arts and crafts, games, a range of activities and discos, whereas the older teens have their own areas throughout the hotel to chill out but can also take part in a range of activities hosted by the activity leaders.

Fantastic location

With a piste side location, it is incredibly easy to get onto the Flaine Forêt slopes, click on your skis or tighten your bindings and head down the green run next to the Grand Van chairlift where you have access to the 265km across the Le Grand Massif ski area. The ski school is just across the road, so it is really easy for those just starting out.

Soothing spa and relaxation

After a day on the slopes, enjoy relaxing in the hotels own wellness area featuring an indoor pool, sauna and hammam. If relaxing isn't for you, there's also a fully equipped fitness room with a range of equipment. Alternatively, make the most of the winter sun and sit back and relax on the sunny terrace with views of the surrounding slopes.

Flaine is a mountain resort famed for its monumental outdoor sculptures by artists such as Pablo Picasso and its concrete buildings inspired by the Bauhaus style of the 1960s, many of which house ski-in/ski-out accommodation. It's the only 1960s-era ski resort to be classified a French Historical Monument. Flaine is a really friendly, casual, and family-oriented resort with excellent value and facilities. It has a compact centre with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. There are plenty of off-piste activities such as swimming, ice skating and a cultural centre with an art gallery that features the work of local and international artists.

Skiing and snowboarding in Flaine

The majority of the skiing is in a large snow bowl, which offers incredible views of Mont Blanc and superb skiing for all abilities. It's also possible to explore the tree-lined runs leading down to the nearby resorts of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, and Sixt with the Grand Massif Lift Pass. The blue Cascades piste is one of the longest pistes in the Alps, descending down into the historic Haut Savoyard village of Sixt Fer-à-Cheval. For advanced skiers, get the Grandes Platieres bubble and follow the signs to the Diamant Noir run, a demanding and steep black run.

Where to stay in Flaine

We offer a selection of accommodation in Flaine Forum and Foret, many of which have easy access to the slopes, including the stunning Residence at Montsoleil and the unique and stylish Hotel Totem.

Bars and restaurants in Flaine

Flaine has a number of bars and restaurants dotted around, both on and off the mountain. There's a variety of shepherd huts on the mountain serving Savoyard specialities, we recommend sampling the fondue in Le Michet. For an after ski drink head to Le White Pub which often has live music and a variety of beers to choose from.
