The impressive Résidence Le Centaure is located just opposite the Grandes Platières lift with skiing back to the doorstep. The apartments offer superior and high end stylish accommodation, all with south-facing views through floor to ceiling windows.

Luxury ski apartments

The Le Centaure Apartments have been furnished to a high standard, combining Alpine décor with modern touches. Each apartment has everything you need for a relaxing week in Flaine, with an equipped kitchen, tea and coffee making facilities, a lounge area which can be used as an additional sleeping area and wonderful views across the resort and surrounding mountains.

Fantastic location

Start your day by heading to the Grandes Platières lift, giving you access to the fantastic slopes in Flaine. At the end of the day you can ski back to the apartments, and store your equipment in the heated ski storage room.

The apartments are just a short walk away from the centre of Flaine, where you can find a variety of shops and a supermarket so you can stock up on the essentials,  and for the days when you don't feel like cooking there is a wide range of restaurants to choose from, as well as plenty of bars to keep you occupied even when you are not on the slopes.

Soothing spa and relaxation

Relax after a day of skiing, and make use of the excellent leisure facilities which are included with your stay. Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, relax in the sauna and hammam, or soak away any aches and pains in the jacuzzi. Stay active in the fitness room which has a range of fitness machines and equipment. For the younger guests, there is also a children's splash pool.

Flaine is a mountain resort famed for its monumental outdoor sculptures by artists such as Pablo Picasso and its concrete buildings inspired by the Bauhaus style of the 1960s, many of which house ski-in/ski-out accommodation. It's the only 1960s-era ski resort to be classified a French Historical Monument. Flaine is a really friendly, casual, and family-oriented resort with excellent value and facilities. It has a compact centre with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. There are plenty of off-piste activities such as swimming, ice skating and a cultural centre with an art gallery that features the work of local and international artists.

Skiing and snowboarding in Flaine

The majority of the skiing is in a large snow bowl, which offers incredible views of Mont Blanc and superb skiing for all abilities. It's also possible to explore the tree-lined runs leading down to the nearby resorts of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, and Sixt with the Grand Massif Lift Pass. The blue Cascades piste is one of the longest pistes in the Alps, descending down into the historic Haut Savoyard village of Sixt Fer-à-Cheval. For advanced skiers, get the Grandes Platieres bubble and follow the signs to the Diamant Noir run, a demanding and steep black run.

Where to stay in Flaine

We offer a selection of accommodation in Flaine Forum and Foret, many of which have easy access to the slopes, including the stunning Residence at Montsoleil and the unique and stylish Hotel Totem.

Bars and restaurants in Flaine

Flaine has a number of bars and restaurants dotted around, both on and off the mountain. There's a variety of shepherd huts on the mountain serving Savoyard specialities, we recommend sampling the fondue in Le Michet. For an after ski drink head to Le White Pub which often has live music and a variety of beers to choose from.
