When you stay at Hotel Monte Sella it feels like you’re staying with a family friend. Nobert and Cristina are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them or their wonderful team. The Art Nouveau building makes it seem like you’ve stepped back in time and there’s little nostalgic touches throughout the property. The rooms are great with lots of space and comfy beds to collapse in at the end of the day.

The hotel's location means you are only 50 metres away from the ski lifts, so you can be skiing the world-class runs of the Dolomiti Superski in no time. The hotel also organises free guided skiing and snow-shoeing for guests on selected dates. You’re right in the centre of the resort too so there’s plenty of bars and shops in easy walking distance.

Make sure to leave lots of room for breakfast and dinner as the food here is great. The chef uses local, organic produce and you can enjoy some lovely traditional South Tyrolean dishes. We highly recommend taking a day out to enjoy the spa too.

Kronplatz

Kronplatz, also known as Plan de Corones, is part of the famous South Tyrol and the Dolomiti Superski area and is known for its modern lifts, guaranteed snow and breath-taking 360º views of the Dolomite Mountains. The pistes are well groomed and never overcrowded, making the resort ideal for all levels of skiers and particularly families and beginners. San Vigilio, where our hotels are located, is to the south of Kronplatz and is a pretty Ladin village that blends modern chic with old customs and traditions. There are plenty of activities available such as sledging, snowshoeing and sleigh rides and after a day on the slopes you’ll enjoy the selection of cosy bars and restaurants.
