About Chalet Fauner B

This is an Inghams Chalet, brought to life by our friendly Chalet Hosts. After a day on the slopes, come back to freshly prepared meals, a relaxed atmosphere and a table where the day's best runs (and the occasional falls) are always worth talking about. With the little details taken care of, you've got more time to enjoy the mountains. 

Chalet Fauner is perfectly placed in St Anton, just a five-minute walk from the main Galzig lift – and a short stroll from Basecamp, where the après really gets going. It’s close enough to be in the heart of the action, but tucked away just enough to enjoy a quieter night when you want it. You can book the chalet exclusively or on a room-by-room basis, making it flexible whether you’re travelling with a group or joining others. And when it’s time to unwind, head down to the sauna with power showers and a small relaxation area – the ideal reset after a big day on the mountains.

Children in chalets

Children 10 years and under will be served an early High Tea at 5:30 pm. However, if you've booked the chalet for sole use, children are welcome to join the adult dinner sitting. Children's menus are also available.

Children 11 years and under are welcome in the chalet on any date where one group books the entire chalet for their exclusive use. Otherwise, children are allowed on peak dates only. For Winter 2026/27, these dates are:

  • 19 and 26 Dec
  • 13 and 20 Feb
  • 27 Mar, 3 Apr

400 metres up the hill from town you'll find the ski chalet in a peaceful setting, overlooking the wooded slopes of Rendl. We have arranged with our ski and board hire partner that all pre-booked skis and boots can be left at the shop just next to the lifts, leaving you free to return to the chalet or stop at one of St Anton’s renowned après ski venues in the centre of the resort.

  • Five minute walk to the Galzig and Rendl lifts 
  • 400 metres to the town centre
  • The return walk to the chalet is uphill so pre-booked skis and boots can be left at the hire shop just next to the lifts

Our catered chalets mean there is no need to worry about a shopping trip whilst on holiday, as you will be looked after by us from arrival right to departure.

  • Afternoon tea with home made cake and a selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate
  • 4 course set menu on 6 evenings of your holiday. Start your evening with an aperitif with nibbles, followed by a starter, main, dessert and cheese board.
  • Wine is served with dinner, plus tea and coffee will be available after your meal
  • On Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, a special celebration menu is prepared

Breakfast hot option, afternoon tea & dinner is 6 days per week due to chalet staff's day off. Our Destination Experts are there to recommend and book a local restaurant in resort for the free evening.

Breakfast 

A continental buffet breakfast is available on 7 mornings of your holiday. There’ll be a selection of cereals, bread and pastries, jams and spreads, local cheeses and charcuterie, yogurts and fresh fruits. We have a coffee machine in each chalet, along with teas, infusions, hot chocolates and fruit juices.

For 6 mornings of your holiday there’s a classic full cooked breakfast available, starting from 8am. Your hosts will take an order from you and get it prepared ahead of your big day on the slopes. Options include free range eggs, sausages, bacon, halloumi, mushrooms and tomatoes. 

Afternoon tea 

A fresh cake will be baked and ready for your return from the slopes, 6 days of the week. Perfect to pair with the selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee, that are in your chalet for you whenever you fancy.  

Evening meal 

A 4-course set menu will be cooked and served by your chalet hosts on 6 evenings of your holiday. You’ll start your evening with an aperitif and nibbles, where we have a choice of Prosecco, beer and soft drinks. 

The evening set menu has been designed to incorporate a variety of different cuisines, including classic French, Asian, Italian, Austrian and British dishes. One evening the menu will be a delicious regional dish, from the area you are staying in. 

After each homemade dessert there’s a selection of cheeses with fresh bread, crackers and chutney, along with coffee, tea or infusions. 

There will be special celebration menus on Christmas Day & New Year's Eve. 

Wine and drinks 

During your evening meal guests can indulge in our carefully selected complimentary local wines, which consists of a choice of 3 red, 3 white and 1 rosé. All of the wines have been carefully chosen to pair well with the menu and cater to all tastes.

For those guests that don’t drink wine, there is a selection of beer (both with and without alcohol), sparkling mineral water and soft drinks.

St. Anton is renowned for its challenging skiing, which goes hand-in-hand with spectacular scenery and lively après-ski. The long, exhilarating descents from the Valluga, scenic valley runs and world-class off-piste skiing attract keen skiers year after year who relish the bragging rights back home. Also included in the Arlberg lift pass are the exclusive resorts of Lech, Zürs, Stuben and St. Christoph.

Things to do in St. Anton

St. Anton offers a range of specialist ski courses for all levels, from beginner lessons to advanced off-piste and avalanche training. Ski School Arlberg provides group and private lessons, while Snowminds and Newgen run professional ski instructor programs, including certifications like the Austrian "Anwärter" and ISIA-level development. Ideal for both recreational skiers and those pursuing a ski career.

St. Anton am Arlberg offers delightful ice skating and curling experiences at the Arlberg WellCom leisure complex, perfect for families, groups, and non-skiers seeking winter fun.

St. Anton offers thrilling tobogganing experiences suitable for all ages, featuring a 4.3 km illuminated natural toboggan run from Gampen to Nasserein. The descent, which takes approximately 15 minutes, is accessible daily from 12pm to 4:15pm, with additional evening sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm. Toboggans can be rented at local sports shops or at the Nassereinbahn valley station during evening sessions.

St. Anton am Arlberg offers an exhilarating winter activity: snow biking. This sport involves riding specially equipped fat bikes—mountain bikes with oversized tires—on snow-covered trails, providing a unique way to explore the alpine landscape. While specific snow biking routes are not detailed, the region's extensive network of winter hiking paths may be suitable for fat biking. 

The Museum St. Anton am Arlberg, housed in the historic Villa Trier, offers a captivating journey through the region's rich skiing heritage. Built in 1912 by German industrialist Bernhard Trier, the villa was a pivotal site where ski pioneer Hannes Schneider developed the Arlberg skiing technique, which revolutionized alpine skiing.

The museum's permanent exhibition traces the evolution of skiing in the Arlberg region, from its early days to its status as a world-renowned ski destination. Highlights include vintage ski equipment, personal stories of skiing legends, and interactive displays that showcase the technological advancements in winter sports. The museum also delves into the broader history of St. Anton, exploring its transformation from a small alpine village to a hub of winter tourism.

Visitors can enjoy the museum's serene alpine parkland setting and dine at the Museum Restaurant-Café, which offers a refined atmosphere and a menu inspired by local cuisine.

The historic ski show in St. Anton am Arlberg, titled “Schneetreiben – The Snow Must Go On”, is a captivating multimedia performance that showcases the evolution of skiing through the decades. Held every Wednesday evening from mid January to early April, at the Karl Schranz Zielstadion, the 45-minute show begins at 9pm and is free to attend. The event features dynamic ski demonstrations, light effects, and a spectacular fireworks finale, transforming the slope into a massive screen that illustrates the sport's history.
