Mighty St Anton is one of the best high-alpine ski resorts in the world and has the reputation of being best suited to strong skiers and boarders. But that certainly shouldn’t put less confident skiers off – there’s plenty for them too.
Skiing and snowboarding in St Anton
St. Anton is renowned for its challenging skiing, which goes hand-in-hand with spectacular scenery and lively après-ski. The long, exhilarating descents from the Valluga, scenic valley runs and world-class off-piste skiing attract keen skiers year after year who relish the bragging rights back home. Also included in the Arlberg lift pass are the exclusive resorts of Lech, Zürs, Stuben and St. Christoph.
With the new Flexenbahn link opening in the last few years, all resorts in the Arlberg ski area - St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs, Lech, Oberlech, as well as Ströcken and Warth are easily and comfortably accessible on skis without he need of a bus making this the one of largest interconnected ski areas in Austria.

Bars and restaurants in St Anton
The attractive pedestrianised village centre gives easy access to the main lifts and St. Anton’s infamous après-ski starts on the slopes at bars such as the ‘Mooserwirt’ and the ‘Krazy Kanguruh’, and continues into the small hours down in the village.
