Hotel Alpenblume is a classic family friendly chalet-style property located in a quiet side street only two minutes’ walk from the nearest piste and ski school meeting point. It’s convenient for lift access, being only about 4 minutes’ walk from the Festkogel gondola leading to the entire Obergurgl-Hochgurgl area.

The Alpenblume is run by our long-standing partner Imre - his team look forward to welcoming you all. Inside, the interior is a combination of traditional Austrian styles, found in the dining room designed with Tyrolean “stube” seating, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The modern bar and lounge areas offer a light and airy contemporary place to chill in the evening with a drink. Whilst the wellness area is the perfect place to unwind - You'll appreciate the extra facilities here with a sauna, steam room, an infra-red cabin and a ‘Kneippbad’ or Austrian foot spa on the lower ground floor.

Choose from a variety of different room types, the 20 modern and comfortable rooms offer everything from singles to larger suites sleeping up to six, perfect for families.

Obergurgl

If you’re looking for guaranteed snow, queue-free modern lifts and immaculate slope grooming then Obergurgl is the place for you.  Known as the ‘diamond of the alps’ all our hotels are 4 star and above. As a family resort, many of the hotels offer kids activities and are close to the ski school and lifts.

You’ll have quiet scenic pistes suited to all levels of skiing. There is a great ski school, learning area and child friendly snow park. At a height of 1,927 metres the views in Obergurgl are spectacular.

With a community of 400 locals working in the traditional pubs, parasol covered bars and rustic mountain huts –expect lederhosen’s, large beer steins and service with a smile. Obergurgl is a small resort meaning you’re never too far from friends or family on the slopes.

The best views can be enjoyed from the top mountain star 360° bar or the Hohe Mut Alm – where you’ll find the spot known as Tirol’s most beautiful mountain ridge. We recommend a winter hike around the stone pine forest – which became a UNESCO natural treasure in 1963. There is a weekly ski-show, night skiing and tobogganing or why not holiday in style with a helicopter ride or champagne gondola lunch.

No trip to Obergurgl would be complete without a trip to the famous après Nederhütte, located half way up the mountain. Be sure to try the sticky ribs, they’re a specialty that shouldn’t be missed. Once you’ve had a bite to eat. It’s time to party – the house band and staff will be the first to demand you get up on the benches for a good old knees up.

In Obergurgl you'll have one of our reps in resort who will know the local area and can assist you with any queries.
