About Ski Inn Apartments

Ready to carve up some fresh Finnish powder? Ski Inn Apartments put you right in the centre of all the action. Located next to the slopes of the stunning Pyhätunturi fell, forget long hauls with heavy equipment - step out your door, clip in and cruise down the green Skiway or charge down the red Polar piste to the lifts. Best of all, your six-day lift pass is included, so all you have to do is focus on your turns.

When you're ready to call it a day, chill out in your cosy lounge and take in the snowy views from the large windows. With your own private sauna, you can take it at your own pace and recharge your muscles whenever you please. For a total VIP experience, the two-bedroom apartments have their own private Jacuzzi on the balconies. Trust us, nothing beats soaking in the bubbles under a starlit Arctic sky after a full day on the fell.

Fuel your ski trip with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with an oven, stovetop and coffee machine for that essential pre-ski caffeine fix. Swing by the Hotel Pyhätunturi convenience store for quick chairlift snacks or hit the supermarket if you’re looking for a full haul. For those evenings when you feel like being wined and dined, a quick scenic walk brings you to the resort centre. From fancy Lappish dinners to easy-going pizza and burgers, there’s a bit of everything to keep you satisfied.

  • Six-day lift pass included with your stay
  • Free access to the sauna and fitness room at the Hotel Pyhätunturi
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Ski storage in each building

Getting onto Pyhä's slopes couldn't be easier, clip in your skis and head down the green Skiway run starting from the corner of the hotel or head down the red Polar piste to access the ski lifts.  When returning from a day on the slopes, you can ski back down to the Pyhätunturi via the black graded Piste Palander, which is recommended for advanced skiers only.

  • One minute's walk to the Hotel Pyhätunturi, where you can find a sauna, fitness room, bar and restaurant
  • Slope-side location with access to the lifts and ski school meeting point via connecting green runs. The apartments are up to a 200-metre walk from the slopes
  • Around 1km to the resort centre where you can find a well-stocked supermarket and a handful of restaurants accessible by bus or 15 15-minute walk
  • The bus stop is just outside the Hotel Pyhatunturi
  • Taxis can be arranged for a local fee (approx. €15 each way)

The Ski Inn Apartments are self-catered apartments with an optional half board upgrade.

Each of the suites has a well-equipped kitchenette with an oven, stovetop, microwave, kettle, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher. There's a small convenience shop in the Hotel Pyhätunturi and a larger supermarket in the resort centre. If you don't feel like cooking, there's a handful of restaurants in the resort centre (approx. 1km downhill) serving traditional Lappish cuisine and international dishes including pizza, burgers and grilled meats.

If you have upgraded to half board, start the day with a buffet breakfast spread in Camp Kitchen that has it all - flaky pastries and fresh fruit to hearty hot favourites, local cheeses and savoury cold cuts. It’s the ultimate morning recharge to keep your energy high until the final run of the day.

When you're done for the day, head back to Camp Kitchen for a delicious three-course dinner. Dig into a rotating mix of warming seasonal soups, authentic Finnish specialities and international crowd-pleasers - all topped off with a decadent dessert to celebrate a day well-spent on the snow.

Discover Pyhä

Cruisy slopes, shorter queues and unbeatable views - Pyhä is Finland's best-kept secret. Known for its rugged, untouched terrain, it's all about the 'quiet' thrill of the North. Surrounded by Pyhä-Luosto National park, your days are spent carving pristine pistes under the glow of pastel polar skies. As the lifts close, the adventure doesn't stop - the clear, dark skies here make it one of the best spots for chasing the Northern Lights.

The compact ski area is fantastic if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of mainstream ski resorts. Whether you’re a first-timer finding your feet or you simply prefer a slower, more soulful pace on the snow, you’ll feel right at home here. But the magic of Pyhä extends far beyond the pisted fells. Step into the silence of the National Park on snowshoes, dig for your own sparkling gems in the amethyst mine (which is over two million years old!) or embrace the traditional Finnish lifestyle with husky sledding and reindeer sleigh rides.
