Situated just above the village of La Clusaz, the Résidence Les Grandes Alpes offers premium apartments just a short distance away from the slopes, with the majority of apartments benefitting from incredible views of the resort. The residence has wonderful facilities included, make the most of the wellness facilities, or enjoy a game of billiards in the communal area and lounge with a fireplace.

Great location

In a beautiful south facing position, the Résidence Les Grandes Alpes offers chalet-style apartments overlooking the village of La Clusaz, each apartment benefits from having a balcony with incredible views of the resort and surrounding mountains. The nearest ski lift is a five minute walk away from the residence, so you can be on the slopes in no time. There is a supermarket at the entrance of the apartments and the resort centre is a short walk away, both convenient for self-catered accommodation.

Fully furnished

Each apartment is furnished to a high standard, and decorated in traditional Alpine style offering you a cosy place to stay. The apartments all have fully equipped kitchens with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and a Nespresso machine, which makes them a great choice for a self catered holiday. The apartments also have a lounge where you can sit back and relax after a day on the slopes and marvel at the incredible views surrounding the residence.

Wellness and relaxation

After a day on the slopes, you can make the most of the wellness facilities at the Residence Les Grandes Alpes. Enjoy the heated swimming pool with views of the resort and church tower or unwind in the sauna and give your achy muscles a break. There is also a lovely communal area with billiard table and board games to borrow, or to share with neighbours.

La Clusaz, a picturesque Savoyard village located in the beautiful Aravis mountain range. The resort features a rustic centre with a church, shops and a variety of traditional restaurants serving regional specialties, as well as a number of bars to take advantage of the resort's welcoming ambiance. The ski domain is made up of five interlinked mountains within the Haute-Savoie region, providing access to the expansive Massif des Aravis Ski Area. With 210 kilometres of downhill skiing, beginners and intermediates can enjoy the green and blue runs, while experts can ski the abundant off-piste terrain.

Skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

La Clusaz is part of the Aravis Ski Area, which provides access to 133 marked pistes. The resort's excellent green and blue runs make it a great place for beginners and families. For intermediate and advanced skiers, there's an assortment of slopes and an abundance of off-piste terrain (we recommend hiring a guide), as well as the opportunity to ski Le Grand Bornand with an Aravis Lift Pass.

For the majority of the hotels and apartments we offer in La Clusaz you can reach the slopes within a few minutes, making it extremely easy to get onto the mountain.

Bars and restaurants in La Clusaz

La Clusaz is a lively resort with variety of bars and restaurants both in the the village and up in the mountains which offer great food, service and value for money. There's plenty of choices serving a variety of different dishes, whether you feel like a burger, pizza, pasta or traditional Savoyard dishes. The resort also has a number of bars to choose from, relax after a day on the slopes with a glass of Vin Chaud (hot wine) with a log fire and a mountain view.

Enjoy lunch with a view of the mountains at one of the many restaurants dotted around the ski area, many of which serve excellent Savoyard specialities. We recommend sampling the tartiflette.

Rooms

Studio apartments are around 32m² and sleep two to four people. Each apartment has a living room with double sofa bed and bunk beds in an alcove at the entrance which is separated by a curtain, and have a south-facing balcony, overlooking the village. Studios for guests with reduced mobility are located on the 1st floor, so do not have a clear view.

One bedroom apartments are around 37m² and sleep two to four people. Each apartment has a living room with double sofa bed and bedroom with twin beds. These apartments are located on the upper floors and have a balcony overlooking the resort.

Two bedroom apartments are around 46m² and sleep two to six people . Each apartment has a double bedroom, a bedroom with twin or bunk beds and an additional double sofa bed in the living room. These apartments are located on the upper floors and have a balcony overlooking the resort.

Three bedroom apartments are around 70m² and sleep four to eight people. Each apartment has a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one may have bunk beds, and an additional double sofa bed in the living room.
