The warm and welcoming Hotel La Chaudanne has an excellent location in Méribel just a short walk away from the slopes. After a day on the slopes make the most of the Nuxe Spa or relax in the cosy lounge with a drink. Offered on a bed and breakfast basis you can dine in the hotels restaurant Le 80, known for its outstanding cuisine - plus there is live music throughout the winter season and it changes with the time you choose to have dinner, alternatively the resort centre is just a short stroll away.

Modern bedrooms

Warm tones and wood accents are combined with modern luxury to create a cosy and welcoming setting, many of the bedrooms have balconies with views of the surrounding mountains and slopes, so you can make the most of the beautiful setting.

Nuxe Spa

The spa facilities sets this hotel apart from its neighbours, enjoy having a dip in the heated indoor pool or relax in the sauna and steam room for a moment of peace. For those who want to stay active, there is a well equipped gym with treadmills, a rowing machine, cross-trainers, and weight training machines. If you want to spoil yourself, massages and beauty treatments are available.

Bar and restaurant

Each morning you can enjoy an extensive skier's breakfast so you can fuel up for a day on the mountains, and if you are looking for a spot for lunch why not try Le Rok Restaurant serving home-made regional dishes and charcuterie platters,  this lovely piste side restaurant can be reached by foot or on skis. Known for its outstanding cuisine, the Bistro Le 80 is a great place to have your evening meal - there are two seatings each evening often with varied live music, be sure to book as it is incredibly popular. The lounge and bar provide a warm and relaxed setting to enjoy reminiscing about your Three Valley adventures, you can grab a quite bite to eat here and soak up the lively atmosphere, additionally a wide selection of confectionery is available at Candy's Bar.

Méribel is set in the centre of the Three Valleys, Europe's largest linked ski area with endless skiing opportunities with easy access to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens in the neighbouring valleys. The beautiful wooden chalet buildings of Méribel make this one of one of France's most attractive ski resorts and one of the most popular. Meribel has been awarded the Family Plus label which makes this resort an excellent choice for families as many of the hotels, restaurants and ski areas have kept children in mind. 

Skiing and snowboarding in Méribel

With a central location in the Three Valleys Ski Area, Méribel has excellent access to the largest linked ski area. With 600km of marked pistes you wont be short of areas to explore, and if you do try make sure you book one of the accommodations with wellness facilities to rejuvenate.  There is of course some amazing skiing in the valley itself including the Women's Downhill run and up at the Mont du Vallon and the legendary 'Face' run used for the 1992 Winter Olympics. If speeding down competition worthy slopes isn't your thing there are also plenty of cruisy blue and red runs throughout the resort. The fun zones in Méribel have been upgraded with the new 'Bump'N'Jump' fun zone with three separate runs with various jumps, boxes and boardercross sections -  accessible via the Legends chairlift and Arpasson ski lift.

Food and drink in Méribel

Méribel centre is one of the area's liveliest resorts with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Whether you want classic French dishes, Savoyard specialties or international favourites, there is something for everyone at every budget. There isn't a shortage of great bars either, you can dance the afternoon away at the legendary La Folie Douce or enjoy live music at Jacks. 

Where to stay in Méribel

We offer a range of accommodation in Méribel including our wonderful Inghams Chalets, premium apartments and traditional Savoyard hotels. We also have a piste side, inclusive hotel in the satellite village of Mottaret which is just above Méribel. Many of the hotels and apartments are located a snowball throw away from the slopes within making it extremely easy to get onto the renowned Three Valleys Ski Area. This really is an excellent all round resort that offers something for everyone.

Standard Double Rooms are sleep one to two people and are around 18m², most rooms have a balcony.

Superior Double Rooms sleep two people and are more spacious at around 25m². These rooms have a double bed, small seating area and most rooms have a balcony. 

Family Quad Rooms sleep four people. These rooms have a double bed, and a separate area with two single beds. Not all rooms have a balcony. These rooms are on request, please give our Reservations team a call if you would like to book this room type.

You can enjoy a bed and breakfast board basis at Hotel La Chaudanne, with a continental buffet breakfast with additional hot options.

Evening meals are not included but the hotel has a lovely restaurant, often with live music, called 'Brassiere Le 80'. The menu features delicious traditional items and international favourites.
