About Hotel L'Eterlou

You'll feel that classic alpine magic the second step inside Hotel L'Eterlou. The hotel takes inspiration from traditional mountain chalets, using plenty of natural wood and a palette of warm, inviting colours to nail that rustic mountain atmosphere. Best of all, you're only 50 metres from the Chaudanne ski lifts, so you can swap your slippers for ski boots and be on the mountain in minutes.

After a big day exploring the Three Valleys, head straight to the outdoor wellness area. It’s tucked away amongst snow-dusted trees with panoramic views of the peaks. Dive into the heated outdoor pool or let the bubbles of the Jacuzzi handle those tired muscles. Just a few steps away, you’ll find a cosy little chalet housing the sauna and steam room – exactly the post-ski reset you deserve.

Restaurant La Grange is exactly where you want to be after a day on the slopes. The menu keeps things simple, focusing on fresh, local produce that’ll make your taste buds sing. Between the rustic décor and the huge, crackling old-fashioned fireplace, every detail is designed to help you unwind and enjoy your meal. Once you’ve had your fill of great food, wander over to the bar to wrap up the night. Try one of their creative cocktails or a steaming mug of traditional mulled wine – it’s the best spot to toast to a successful day on the mountain.

Discover Meribel

Set in the centre of the Three Valleys, Europe's largest linked ski area, skiing in Méribel offers endless opportunities with easy access to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens in the neighbouring valleys. The beautiful wooden chalet buildings of Méribel make this one of one of France's most attractive ski resorts and one of the most popular.

Meribel has been awarded the Family Plus label which makes this resort an excellent choice for families as many of the hotels, restaurants and ski areas have kept children in mind.

With a central location in the Three Valleys, Méribel has excellent access to the largest linked ski area. With 600km of marked pistes you won't be short of areas to explore, and if you do try to make sure you book one of the accommodations with wellness facilities to rejuvenate. There is some amazing skiing in the valley, including the Women's Downhill run and up at the Mont du Vallon and the legendary 'Face' run used for the 1992 Winter Olympics. If speeding down competition-worthy slopes isn't your thing there are also plenty of cruisy blue and red runs throughout the resort. The fun zones in Méribel have been upgraded with the new 'Bump'N'Jump' fun zone with three separate runs with various jumps, boxes and boardercross sections -  accessible via the Legends chairlift and Arpasson ski lift.
