About Hotel Grivola

For a ski holiday with a unique charm, Hotel Grivola is a fantastic choice. Located in the heart of Cervinia, it offers everything you need within easy reach, with the ski lifts just 100 metres away.

Throughout the property you'll find a range of work by artist Gabriele Maquignaz. There's abstract art hanging on the walls and beautiful sculptures dotted about the place. Literally everywhere you look there's something to admire and we love the quirkiness throughout. 

The rooms are really comfy and they have pretty much everything you need for an great stay. The spa facilities can be accessed outside on the terrace, and these include a barrel sauna to soothe out any aches or pains and a warming hot tub, all you need to do is just book on arrival.

Enjoy a drink at the bar before indulging in some local and international dishes served in the restaurant which is open to the public and well known for it's great quality food and is a very popular place to eat. Be sure to check out the wine list too, there's some great labels in the cellar.

  • Dinner is three courses with a choice of starter, main and dessert. You can expect local and international dishes on offer in one of the hotel's two restaurants, which are full of character and art.

The hotel have an adapted room but access to the property is up an external staircase. Guests can access the property via the hotels ground level public restaurant and use the lift to access all floors.

What truly makes this resort stand out is the towering site of the Matterhorn and just how close it is. Cervinia is known for its extensive ski area and as you head up the mountain to the high peaks of the Plateau Rosa you will appreciate the impressive lift system which connects you to Valtournenche as well as the famous Swiss resort of Zermatt.

Things to do in Cervinia

Ice karting in Cervinia is an adrenaline-filled winter activity where you race ice karts on a specially prepared ice track. The karts are equipped with studded tires for grip, allowing you to drift around corners and race head-to-head against family and friends.

Enjoy skating around the natural ice rink in Cervinia with incredible views of the Matterhorn. The open-air ice rink is open from November to March, and is illuminated so you can enjoy skating under the stars. 

 The skating rink has a non-stop bar and restaurant service, often with themed evenings, karaoke and après ski.  

Wine tasting in Cervinia offers a guided sensory journey through local and international wines, led by certified sommeliers. Enjoy exquisite wines paired with appetizers in a cosy, elegant setting.
