Set amongst wonderful gardens just one kilometre from the Lake Iseo, Hotel Iseolago provides the ultimate tranquil retreat. This elegant property has been renovated in recent years and is known for its relaxed and informal atmosphere. The interior is classic with flecks of gold and marble scattered throughout the sprawling hallways and comfortable rooms. Situated in the glorious gardens are three swimming pools, including a small dip pool for children. For those wanting to swim in the lake itself, its just a leisurely stroll away through a private pathway on the hotel grounds. 

A superb a la carte restaurant offers a refined menu with local dishes including fish caught from the lake that can be enjoyed with a chilled glass of franciacorta. After, head to the bar for a relaxed drink or after-dinner snack. For a relaxing day, take advantage of the free entry into the nearby Sassabanek Lido (open mid May to mid September) that boasts three pools, a private beach and watersports as well as a bar and restaurant. Those who truly want to indulge will love the hotel's contemporary spa where a plethora of treatments are available (treatments are payable locally but entry to the spa is free).

When it comes to exploring the area, the stunning Torbiere Nature Reserve is just 200 metres away and offers you over 300 hectares of natural clay ponds, red beds, wild flower fields and vast wildlife to discover at your own pace. The town of Iseo is around a 15-minute walk away and is rich with character, boasting boutique shops, fine restaurants and some fantastic walks including the local Via Valeriana - one of the oldest and most picturesque walks of the region. The hotel shuttle runs regularly to the centre of Iseo (payable locally).

Standard Rooms sleep up to three people and measure around 19m². They have a traditional style with slashes of rich colours and modern amenities including air conditioning, TV, safe, minibar, hairdryer and a bathtub or shower. Rooms have a double bed (twin beds are available on request) and a private balcony that looks out over the garden or hill. Rooms for single use are available on request.

Lake Iseo

Lake Iseo is the fourth largest lake in Northern Italy. The main town of Iseo is on the south shore, its medieval origins evident in the street patterns, arcaded shopping areas and peaceful squares. Lake Iseo’s most striking feature is Monte Isola island, the largest inhabited lake island in Europe. This is home to 11 small communities, traffic-free and easily reached by boat from the lakeside towns of Iseo and Sulzano – the perfect spot for a peaceful stroll. There is gentle walking too around the Torbiere del Sebino adjacent to Iseo Town. It’s a lakeside wetland nature reserve, a mecca for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The Lake Iseo railway from Brescia is a comfortable way to explore this lovely lake and its surrounding areas up into the Camonica Valley. There is also gentle walking around the Torbiere del Sebino adjacent to Iseo Town. L'Alzavola Restaurant offers refined cuisine that used local ingredients. Enjoy fish from the lake accompanied by a chilled glass of Franciacorta.

Bar L'Alzavola is an informal space where you can relax and enjoy a great selection of drinks and snacks.

Pools and Beaches

A 10,000 square metre park houses three open air swimming pools. Around each pool there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for you to use. Pool towels are provided free of charge. Guests can also use the facilities at the adjacent Sassabanek Lido free of chage, which offers three pools, a private beach directly on the lake, tennis courts, five-a-side football pitches and watersports. There's also a bar and restaurant so you can happily spend all day relaxing here (the lido is normally open from mid May to mid September).


Le Ninfe del Lago spa, which translates to 'The Nympths of the Lake', is as enchanting as it sounds. This boutique area of the hotel has been designed to evoke feelings of rest and relaxation. The wellness centre is home to a hydro-massage tub, sauna, Turkish bath, tropical showers, fitness room and a relaxation area with free herbal teas. Entry to the spa and use of the facilities mentioned above is free of charge however any beauty treatments or massages must be booked and paid for locally.
