Nestled in flourishing gardens and just 1km from the lake front, Hotel Iseolago provides the ultimate tranquil retreat. This quaint and homely property has been renovated in recent years and is known for its relaxed and informal atmosphere. The interior is classic with flecks of gold and marble scattered throughout the sprawling hallways and comfortable rooms. Situated in the glorious gardens there are three open air pools, two large pools and a small dip pool for ideal for children and for those wanting to take a dip in the cool waters of Iseo itself, the lakeside is a leisurely stroll away through a private pathway on the hotel grounds or you can make use of the shuttle bus which runs throughout the day Mon - Sat and payable locally. 

The spacious and traditionally decorated dining room on site plays host to both the breakfast buffet which consists of hot and cold dishes and the dinner service which boasts an exceptional menu of swordfish, fruiti di mare, homemade pastas and of course delectable desserts. For a local charge of approx. €20 per person per day, you can upgrade to the a la carte menu which is constructed daily by the superb head chef Gerardo Lanza. Their incredible lakeside location means fish is very prominent on their menu with the likes of white lake fish, trench, perch and king prawns with the accompaniment of Rovato beef which is rich and tender when slow cooked in local Brescia wines. Breakfast is a continental service with both hot and cold options, providing everything you could need in order to get your day off to the best start and dinner is a three course affair featuring plenty of fresh salads, homemade pastas and desserts along with the aforementioned treats for the main course. 

Traditional aperitifs can be ordered at the bar and taken out on the garden terrace in the warmer months meaning you can truly embrace La Dolce Vita and watch the sunset over the glorious mountains and glittering waters with a cocktail in hand.

Lake Iseo

Lake Iseo is the fourth largest lake in Northern Italy. The main town of Iseo is on the south shore, its medieval origins evident in the street patterns, arcaded shopping areas and peaceful squares. Lake Iseo’s most striking feature is Monte Isola island, the largest inhabited lake island in Europe. This is home to 11 small communities, traffic-free and easily reached by boat from the lakeside towns of Iseo and Sulzano – the perfect spot for a peaceful stroll. Cruise the lake on the ferries or catch the train to see the other main towns : Sarnico, Pisogne and Lovere.. For the active, the area is excellent for walking at all different levels. The Lake Iseo railway from Brescia is a comfortable way to explore this lovely lake and its surrounding areas up into the Camonica Valley. There is also gentle walking around the Torbiere del Sebino adjacent to Iseo Town. Pools and Beaches

Tucked away amongst the breathtaking 10,000 sq metres of flourishing gardens surrounding the hotels, there are three open air swimming pools. Around each pool there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for you to use and relax in the Iseo sunshine. Pool towels are provided free of charge. 

For those wanting to take a dip in the cool, crystal waters of the lake itself, it is a journey you can make on foot in just a few moments. Through the woodland towards the back of the hotel gardens, you'll find a private path that leads directly down to the harbour. You'll also be given a free entry card to the Sassabank Lido just opposite the hotel which has a further three swimming pools as well as a bar and restaurant 

Spa

Le Ninfe del Lago spa which translates to 'The Nympths of the Lake' spa is as enchanting as it sounds. This boutique area of the hotel has been designed to evoke feelings of rest and relaxation. The wellness centre is home to a hydro-massage tub, sauna, Turkish Bath, tropical showers, fitness room and a relaxation area with free herbals teas to soothe and relax any aching bodies after a long day of exploring your incredible surroundings. Entry to the spa and use of the facilities mentioned above is free of charge however any beauty treatments or massages must be booked and paid for locally. 

Activities

Whilst the ethos of the Iseolago is very much towards rest and relaxation, there is plenty to do for those seeking a more active holiday. On site, there are four tennis courts, free volleyball and table tennis as well as pedalos and canoes to hire locally. Use of the tennis courts is free of charge but equipment is payable locally to hire if you do not have your own. There is also the possibility to hire bikes from the hotel though please note this is subject to availability and payable direct to the hotel. Guests staying at the Iselolago are also granted free entry to the Sassabanek lido located just across the road. Where there are bars and restaurants on the shore side along with opportunities to take sailing lessons (payable locally).
