Food & drink included in your ski chalet holiday

We know food is a key part of the chalet experience. That's why every dish is prepared from scratch in the chalet, using responsibly sourced ingredients where possible. The menus have been carefully curated using many different cuisines as inspiration, and one evening is dedicated to a regional speciality, we're sure you'll love.

  • Daily continental breakfast, plus cooked breakfast on six mornings
  • Freshly baked cake with afternoon tea, will be waiting for you when you return from the slopes
  • A four-course set menu will be served by your host on six evenings. Start the evening with a prosecco aperitif with nibbles, followed by starter, a choice of main course, dessert and then a regional cheese board
  • During your evening meal you will have a choice of carefully selected complimentary local wines, which consists of a 3 red, 3 white and 1 rose. For non-wine drinkers, there is a selection of beer (both with and without alcohol), sparkling mineral water and soft drinks

Ski chalet FAQ's

Chalet Hosts will maintain the cleanliness of the communal areas during your stay. 

As well as your Digital Resort Guide, in resort Destination Expert, most of our Chalet Hosts are avid skiers and snowboarders so can share their knowledge of the slopes and resorts. 

We are striving to do the best we can to reduce our environment impact in our chalets and we've designed our catering offering to help improve our carbon footprint. We work with local suppliers, use regional wines and cheeses, offer more plant-based meals, and reduce single-use plastics and food waste. Eco-friendly cleaning products and refillable toiletries are used wherever possible. Please see here for our impact report. 

Breakfast is included on every morning of your holiday and consists of a continental buffet and 6 mornings a week, a hot serve option.

Afternoon tea with a variety of cakes will be available 6 days of the week as well.

Finally, dinner will be served 6 nights of your chalet holiday, consisting of a 4-course choice dinner, starting off with prosecco apéritif.

On the evening with no hosted meal, it gives you a chance to explore the local restaurants. Our Destination Experts are there to help with suggestions and book a local restaurant in resort. 

Teas and coffees are always available throughout your stay. During dinner, there is a choice of 3 red, 3 whites and 1 rose wine, beer and soft drinks. 

Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free, chalet menus can be tailored at no extra cost. Please let our reservation team know at time of booking so everything can be prepared for your arrival. 

Children aged 12 and over are welcome in our chalets throughout the whole winter season.

For children aged 11 and under, they’re welcome any time if the chalet is booked for exclusive sole use. If you’re a smaller family with younger children, they can stay in our shared chalets on peak holiday dates only. You’ll find these dates listed on each individual chalet page.

Unless you’ve booked the chalet for sole use, children under 10 won’t be able to join their parents at the adult dinner sitting. Instead, we serve a separate High Tea at 5:30pm for children aged 10 and under.

Birthdays - With notice, our Hosts can organise decorations to put up throughout the chalet and can prepare a birthday cake. 

Christmas - All our chalets have a Christmas tree and we serve turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas Day, mince pies and Christmas pudding. 

New Year’s Eve - All our chalets serve a special Celebration Menu, and our Chalet Hosts will know of any resort festivities that you can join in after dinner.
