Chalet Chloe is one of three chalets in a small residence at the entrance to the Balcons area of Val Thorens. The building is shared exclusively with Chalets Mathilde and Noella. The entrance is on the top floor and a shared staircase leads to the chalets, which are each individually run and hosted.

Excellent location

At 2,300 metres, Val Thorens is one of the highest resorts in Europe, and it is connected to the Three Valleys, which is the largest lift-linked area, so skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels can enjoy excellent snow coverage and a variety of slopes. The Chalet Chloe is in an excellent location in Val Thorens, to access the Plein Sud blue, which runs through the village, head 100 metres along the road in the morning and ski directly to the lifts that connect to the Three Valleys, or turn right to descend to Les Menuires.

The centre of the resort is only a five-minute walk away, where you'll find a wide range of shops, cafes, and restaurants. If you are having a day off of skiing, the resort has a range of facilities to keep you occupied including the new Le Board sport centre.

Chalet catering

Your chalet hosts will be there to help you with everything you might need throughout your holiday to ensure that you have an enjoyable time. The hosts prepare home-cooked comfort food, including a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea snacks, and a three-course dinner with wine on six of the seven days of the week, so that you can fuel your ski days. The hosts will, in addition to cooking and serving your meals, keep the chalet clean for the duration of your stay. Since you are on holiday, the only thing that is required of you is to get up and go skiing.

Unwind and relax

The interior of the chalet is styled in the classic Alpine style, and it features comfortable furnishings throughout the entire property, including a lounge and dining area that share an open layout. After spending the day exploring the Three Valleys, make your way back to the chalet to relax with a cup of coffee and a tasty treat for afternoon tea. Alternatively, you can soak up some winter sun on the sun terrace, which offers stunning views of the resort.

After a long day on the slopes, relax and rejuvenate in the wellness area including a sauna and steam room that is shared between guests in the residence.

Val Thorens

At an altitude of 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and as part of the huge Three Valleys area, it is undoubtedly one of the very best. The resort has been designed to offer doorstep skiing from practically wherever you stay and has a village feel around a compact centre - where car access is restricted. The height of Val Thorens means long hours of sunshine, an unrivalled snow record and great skiing for all grades.

The Vallée des Belleville, including Val Thorens, has received the Flocon Vert label, demonstrating the resort's dedication to environmental preservation and highlighting its dedication to sustainable development. When you arrive in Val Thorens, the best way to get around is by foot, bus, or skis - many of our hotels are in great locations, so the pistes are easily accessible, no matter where you are. To keep the slopes skiable, all snow groomers use a more sustainable fuel and are equipped with a snow coverage gauge device to determine where artificial snow coverage is required – this has already decreased snow production by 15%. After a day on the slopes, many of the buildings are well insulated to keep the heat in and have smart heating controls to reduce the use of energy. Solar panels are also used to generate renewable electricity.
