About Hotel Les Arolles

Renovated in a contemporary style, Hotel Les Arolles offers a modern take on mountainous atmosphere and is placed in the heart of the highest ski resort of Val Thorens.

Hotel Les Arolles is a great option if you and you party are looking for great value for money with a touch of luxury. We're sure you'll make the most of the large bar area and south facing terrace for some après ski fun after a fulfilling day in the snow. The hotel also offers interconnecting rooms with separate sleeping areas for added peace of mind.

Relaxation facilities 

What better way to rejuvenate for another day on the slopes than visiting the spa. Open everyday, except Saturday morning, you'll have access to the benefits of a sauna, whirlpool baths and hammam (booking required). Or go the extra mile and immerse yourself in a massage or beauty treatment that uses a selection of natural cosmetic products that are all locally produced in France - whatever takes your fancy.

  • Spa includes steam room, whirlpool and sauna (adults only). Access for teenagers (14-18 years old) on Wednesdays between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., only during school holidays. 
  • Guests receive 3 spa access passes per person, per week. The passes are valid twice before 17:00pm and once after 17:00pm: Spa access to be booked through the reception in advance.   
  • Towels on loan, flip-flops compulsory (on sale on site).

A usual crowd pleaser for keen skiers, Les Arolles is located on the side of the piste and is close to the Campagnoles and Musaraignes lifts so hitting the slopes early to explore the Three Valleys ski area couldn't be easier. If you're new to the sport, the ski and board school meeting area is only a short 2-3 minute walk away and the nearby magic carpet lifts are also ideal if you're looking to put in some extra practice after your lessons.

A continental breakfast buffet with additional hot options is served between 7:30-9:30 am. A late breakfast is also served at the bar until 11am.

Après ski snacks are served from 4:30pm to keep you going until dinner.

Dinner is served in buffet style four course evening meals and is served between 7-9pm. Free water, wine and fruit juices are included and there'll be show cooking -  you can expect a variety of themed and Savoyard speciality menus each evening.

Free upgrade to all inclusive for departures 21st, 28th Mar & 4th, 11th Apr 26 is valid for all room types. This includes full board, fruit juice, hot drinks, a draft beer and a selection of alcoholic beers.

Quin Rooms sleep five people, are around 28-32m² and are made up of an interconnecting twin and a triple room.

Rooms must be occupied to full occupancy in French school holiday dates (Christmas, New Year, February and Easter) and rooms may be allocated according to family size outside of these dates.

The residence is a great option for children looking make new friends on your family ski holiday as there is a free non-skiing kids clubs for children 4 to 10 years all season, and a teen club for 11 to 17 year olds during the French school holidays. 

Baby Club for 18 months to 3 year olds

Kids Club for 4 to 10 year olds

Enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities including games, challenges, snowball fights, snow activities and much more. Clubs run Monday to Friday for half a day between 9am until 12pm or 2pm until 5pm with two evenings of entertainment until 8.30pm. During French school holidays kids clubs run six days and six evenings a week between 9am to 5:30pm and in the evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm.

Teens Club for 11 to 17 year old

During French school holidays teens can enjoy a range of games, activities and challenges with the lively animation team, as well as outdoor activities including bowling or snake gliss.  There's also a games room with a play station, VR headset and board games.  Teen clubs run Sunday to Friday from 5pm until 8:30pm.

Kids clubs are included, on-site registration is required. Children's clubs will be available from 13th December until the end of the season.

Discover Val Thorens

At an altitude of 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and as part of the huge Three Valleys area, it is undoubtedly one of the very best. The resort has been designed to offer doorstep skiing from practically wherever you stay and has a village feel around a compact centre - where car access is restricted. Things to do in Val Thorens

Tobogganing

The longest toboggan run in France can be found at the Cosmojet Toboggan run, accessible via the Péclet funitel. It takes about 45 minutes to run the roughly 6 kilometres to the bottom.

As well as the swimming pool and wellness facilities, the complex has a range of sports courts and a fitness area with body building facilities. There is also a soft play area for the children which includes giant trampolines, slides, rope bridges and a ball pit. Payable locally.

If you would prefer to experience the mountain by foot, there are plenty of paths to follow. The sentier de la Marine is a relatively easy walk of around 5km, starting at Chalet du Cosmojet you will be met with fantastic views across the snowy landscape.

Have you ever wanted to stay on the mountain after last lifts? Every Friday you can enjoy the Tête Ronde and Christine runs in Péclet sector until 6.30pm. It is free of charge for guests with a valid Val Thorens/ Orelle ski pass.

Take to new heights and have a go at the La Bee zip line at the top of the Moutiere chairlift. This adrenaline filled zip line is suitable for children over the age of 14. Height restrictions apply. Pay locally.

The Tyrolienne du Bouchet is the highest zipline in Europe giving you the chance to whizz through the incredible mountain scenery. Located at the top of the Bouchet chairlift. Pay locally.

Snake Gliss (sledge train to you and me) is where sledges are tied together, led by a professional instructor and whizzing down the 45 minute descent from the top of Funitel de Péclet. 

For a bit of evening entertainment head to the resorts bowling centre, where there are eight lanes for bowling, a pool table and a variety of games including a football table. 

Ride your own snowmobile, or with a passenger and follow your guide on a tour around the unspoilt winter landscapes around Val Thorens. Book and pay locally.
