About Hotel Magic Ski

If convenience is high on your list, Hotel Magic Ski is a great choice. Set in the heart of La Massana, it's ideal for families looking for a comfortable base with easy access to the slopes. The gondola is just behind the hotel, with direct access from the ski storage room, so you'll be on your way up the mountain in no time, with the ski school meeting points waiting at the top.

After a day on the slopes, make the most of the hotel's wellness facilities, including an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and fitness room (payable locally). Or simply relax with a drink at the bar and a game of pool before dinner.

You're also perfectly placed for exploring beyond the slopes. Shops, cafés and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, while a nearby bus stop makes it easy to visit Arinsal or head into Andorra la Vella for even more shopping, dining and duty-free bargains.

There is an extensive buffet breakfast to start the day, and when you return for the evening you can enjoy a tasty buffet style meal with a wide variety of choice including show cooking or main courses cooked to order.

Christmas dinner and a special New Year's Gala dinner with cava is included. Please note that the New Year's Gala is split over two sittings.

Lunch service:

Pre-book the 'Ski Inclusive' option which includes lift pass, ski and boots and also lunch vouchers which are used at several participating mountain restaurants and includes a sandwich, chips and a soft drink or beer each day.

Fly to Barcelona:

  • Transfer time: approx. 3 hours 30 minutes – 4 hours by coach with a short break. The coach will stop as close as possible to your chosen accommodation. In some cases, there may be a couple of minutes' walk due to regulations on where coaches can stop
  • Private transfers are available, please call to book

Short breaks:

  • Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights are available at the Princesa Parc Hotel, with 3-night arrivals on a Sunday and 4-night arrivals on a Wednesday
  • Short breaks of 5 nights are available at the Hotel Xalet Verdu from Sunday to Friday
  • Wednesday and Friday arrival/departure transfers will be by public shared shuttle that runs every 2 hours at set times from Arinsal to Barcelona airport, with scheduled stops. There will be a change at Andorra La Vella from the shuttle to the main bus

On Sundays, a Destination Expert will be at the airport to provide information and any assistance required.

Discover Arinsal

If you like your ski holidays with a bit of buzz, Arinsal is a great choice. Part of the Vallnord ski region in western Andorra, it gives you access to over 200 kilometres of slopes. Looking for a quieter evening? Nearby La Massana has a more relaxed feel, with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. The two villages are just six kilometres apart and linked by a regular bus until just after 10pm, so you can easily enjoy both. Best of all, they're both family-friendly and offer some of the best-value skiing in Europe.

Things to do in Arinsal

If you'd prefer to explore the winter landscape by foot we'd recommend trying snow shoeing. Using poles and your own strength you wade through the snow, making it fantastic exercise as well as a lot of fun. A highlight about snow shoeing is that it takes place away from the busy slopes, allowing you to explore the quieter, untouched parts of Andorra. There are several marked snowshoe trails on the Pal-Arinsal ski map, four in La Massana and one in Arinsal.

If you fancy a break from skiing, take the focus off the mountains and spend some quality fun time with the family. Downstairs in the Princesa Parc Hotel you'll find a 10-pin bowling alley, along with a bar and games room that is open to the general public.

Fly above the mountains on an exhilarating zip line adventure. This unforgettable experience offers breathtaking bird’s-eye views. 

Be the first to enjoy the mountain, you can carve down pristine, untouched slopes, gliding over fresh snow as you take in the calm and beauty of the mountain at dawn.
