About Hotel Montane

Inspired by the stunning Arinsal scenery, Montané Hotel offers a warm, welcoming stay with a focus on comfort, fun, and personal service. The owner Fiona and her dedicated team ensure every guest feels at home, with excellent care and a restaurant known for its outstanding menus.

Ideally located, it’s the perfect base for your next ski holiday. Hotel Montané has an incredibly good location, just opposite the main gondola in the centre of Arinsal. Here, you can head straight up the mountain to the large ski area and ski school meeting points, enjoying the variety of slopes offered throughout Andorra and La Massana. 

The restaurant has a great reputation for the quality of its food and a glass of wine is also included with dinner. The chefs pride themselves on sourcing fresh, local ingredients to make tasty evening meals, which are often influenced by the region.

The hotel has all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay and you'll benefit from the free Wi-Fi running throughout the hotel so you can stay connected to your friends and family back home. After a day of exploring the mountain, sit back and relax in the lounge which has an open fireplace and cosy up for an evening with a drink from the hotel bar.

  • Hotel Montane is in a central location in Arinsal resort with all amenities, bars and nightlife nearby.
  • The nearest bar is around a 60 metre walk

  • Our partner ski hire shop and the ski school meeting place are located at the top of the gondola, and the ski bus stop is just outside the hotel (10 metres walk)

Each morning you can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet featuring a variety of sweet and savoury options.

When it comes to dinner, the chefs prepare a three-course meal with a seasonal menu. Dinner includes a complimentary glass of red or white wine (one per guest). Please note that no additional drinks are included with your stay.

The bedrooms are comfortably furnished in a traditional style and are good size and you can really start to appreciate the location upon arrival as many of the bedrooms have a balcony with wonderful mountain views

Twin, triple or quad bedrooms are between 18-25m² and sleep two to four people. For bookings with three people the extra bed can be either a sofa or single bed. For bookings with four people, the main bed is a double bed and the extra beds are either bunkbeds or two single beds. 

Single rooms are around 18m² and can be requested at an additional supplement, please give our Reservations Team a call to book.

  • Transfer time: approx. 3 hours 45 minutes – 4 hours with a short break. The transfer to Arinsal will stop as close as possible to your chosen accommodation. In some cases, there may be a couple of minutes' walk due to regulations on where coaches can stop

Short Breaks:

  • Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights are available at the Princesa Parc Hotel, with 3-night arrivals on a Sunday and 4-night arrivals on a Wednesday
  • Short breaks of 5 nights are available at the Hotel Xalet Verdu from Sunday to Friday
  • Wednesday and Friday arrival/departure transfers will be via by public shared shuttle that runs every 2 hours at set times from Arinsal to Barcelona airport, with scheduled stops. There will be a change at Andorra La Vella from the shuttle to the main bus

On Sundays, a Destination Expert will be at the airport to provide information and any assistance required.

Discover Arinsal

Arinsal, located towards Andorra’s western border with Spain, is part of Andorra’s Vallnord ski region which includes the Pal and Arinsal ski areas, with over 200 kilometres of slopes. There are two separate and very distinct villages - Arinsal is livelier with lots of night life, and La Massana which has more shops and restaurants. The resorts are 6 kilometres apart and connected by bus that runs until just after 10pm. Both Arinsal and La Massana are family-orientated and offer you access to some of the best-value skiing anywhere in Europe.

Things to do in Arinsal

If you'd prefer to explore the winter landscape by foot we'd recommend trying snow shoeing. Using poles and your own strength you wade through the snow, making it fantastic exercise as well as a lot of fun. A highlight about snow shoeing is that it takes place away from the busy slopes, allowing you to explore the quieter, untouched parts of Andorra.

If you fancy a break from skiing, take the focus off the mountains and spend some quality fun time with the family. Downstairs in the Princesa Parc Hotel you'll find a 10-pin bowling alley, along with a bar and games room that is open to the general public.

Fly above the mountains on an exhilarating zip line adventure. This unforgettable experience offers breathtaking bird’s-eye views.
