About Hotel Montane

A warm welcome is at the heart of every stay at Hotel Montané. Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Arinsal, owner Fiona and her friendly team go out of their way to make you feel at home, with personal service and a restaurant that's earned a fantastic reputation for its food.

The location couldn't be much better, either. It's opposite the main gondola in the centre of Arinsal - meaning you'll be on the slopes in no time. There's also easy access to the ski area and ski school meeting points.

In the evenings, dinner awaits with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and regional-inspired dishes - plus a glass of wine included. Afterwards, settle into the cosy lounge with its open fireplace or relax with a drink from the hotel bar. With free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay during your ski holiday.

  • Hotel Montane is in a central location in Arinsal resort with all amenities, bars and nightlife nearby.
  • The nearest bar is around a 60 metre walk
  • The Telecabina d'Arinsal is approximately 20 metres from the hotel
  • Our partner ski hire shop and the ski school meeting place are located at the top of the gondola, and the ski bus stop is just outside the hotel (10 metres walk)

Each morning you can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet featuring a variety of sweet and savoury options.

When it comes to dinner, the chefs prepare a three-course meal with a seasonal menu. Dinner includes a complimentary glass of red or white wine (one per guest). Please note that no additional drinks are included with your stay.

The bedrooms are comfortably furnished in a traditional style, are good size and you can really appreciate the location as many of the bedrooms have a balcony with wonderful mountain views

Twin, triple or quad bedrooms are between 18-25m² and sleep two to four people. For bookings with three people the extra bed can be either a sofa or single bed. For bookings with four people, the main bed is a double bed and the extra beds are either bunkbeds or two single beds. 

Single rooms are around 18m² and can be requested at an additional supplement, please call to book.

Fly to Barcelona:

  • Transfer time: approx. 3 hours 30 minutes – 4 hours by coach with a short break. The coach will stop as close as possible to your chosen accommodation. In some cases, there may be a couple of minutes' walk due to regulations on where coaches can stop
  • Private transfers are available, please call to book

Short breaks:

  • Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights are available at the Princesa Parc Hotel, with 3-night arrivals on a Sunday and 4-night arrivals on a Wednesday
  • Short breaks of 5 nights are available at the Hotel Xalet Verdu from Sunday to Friday
  • Wednesday and Friday arrival/departure transfers will be by public shared shuttle that runs every 2 hours at set times from Arinsal to Barcelona airport, with scheduled stops. There will be a change at Andorra La Vella from the shuttle to the main bus

On Sundays, a Destination Expert will be at the airport to provide information and any assistance required.

Discover Arinsal

If you like your ski holidays with a bit of buzz, Arinsal is a great choice. Part of the Vallnord ski region in western Andorra, it gives you access to over 200 kilometres of slopes. Looking for a quieter evening? Nearby La Massana has a more relaxed feel, with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. The two villages are just six kilometres apart and linked by a regular bus until just after 10pm, so you can easily enjoy both. Best of all, they're both family-friendly and offer some of the best-value skiing in Europe.

Things to do in Arinsal

If you'd prefer to explore the winter landscape by foot we'd recommend trying snow shoeing. Using poles and your own strength you wade through the snow, making it fantastic exercise as well as a lot of fun. A highlight about snow shoeing is that it takes place away from the busy slopes, allowing you to explore the quieter, untouched parts of Andorra. There are several marked snowshoe trails on the Pal-Arinsal ski map, four in La Massana and one in Arinsal.

If you fancy a break from skiing, take the focus off the mountains and spend some quality fun time with the family. Downstairs in the Princesa Parc Hotel you'll find a 10-pin bowling alley, along with a bar and games room that is open to the general public.

Fly above the mountains on an exhilarating zip line adventure. This unforgettable experience offers breathtaking bird’s-eye views. 

Be the first to enjoy the mountain, you can carve down pristine, untouched slopes, gliding over fresh snow as you take in the calm and beauty of the mountain at dawn.
