About Holiday Club Apartments

The Holiday Club Apartments are located in the centre of Saariselkä, providing direct access to the cross-country trail network and a quick bus ride to the downhill slopes. These apartments offer a practical and comfortable setup for a ski holiday, featuring open-plan living areas with fireplaces—ideal for warming up after a day on the mountain.

Each apartment is equipped for self-catering with a full kitchen, allowing you to manage your own meal times and gear prep. You can pick up supplies at the local supermarket or visit the nearby village restaurants. For more convenience, you can upgrade to half-board at the Holiday Club Hotel, which includes a buffet breakfast to fuel your morning runs and a three-course dinner to recover after a day on the fells.

The Holiday Club Apartments are on a self catering basis. Each apartment has its own equipped kitchen and dining table. The well stocked supermarket is around a ten minute walk (600 metres from the Holiday Club Hotel). Additionally there is a range of local restaurants in the resort (pay locally).

There is the option to upgrade to half board at the Holiday Club Hotel. Enjoy a breakfast buffet with a range of hot and cold options served between 7-10am, and a three course evening buffet with a choice of dishes available from 4-8pm.

If you are staying on half board over the festive period, festive buffet dinners are included on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Discover Saariselka

Located in the wild, mystical north of Lapland, Saariselkä is home to the northernmost ski resort in Europe - one centre, two mountains. With magnificent Arctic wilderness scenery just on the doorstep, it makes an ideal resort for an all-round winter wonderland adventure. The skies are often a deep hue of pink and purple, the pine trees heavily covered with snow, and being so far north, there is a good possibility of skiing under the Northern Lights, too.

The downhill ski and snowboard area is spread across the Lisakkipää and Kaunispää fells and is best suited for beginners and intermediates. The ski schools here speak English, and all of the slopes lead back to the same area in the valley where you'll be able to warm up in the café or by a campfire.

While you're here in Europe's northernmost ski resort, check out the excellent cross-country ski trails in the adjoining National Park. In Saariselkä, there are over 200 kilometres of cross-country ski tracks, 34 of which are illuminated - so you can make the most of these tracks despite the polar nights.
