- Resort altitude of 1,850 metres
- Over 150 kilometres of slopes
- 8 green runs, 27 blue runs, 38 red runs and 18 black runs
Set high above the picturesque Upper Tarentaise valley, La Rosière is a brilliantly well thought out resort. Big enough to have all the facilities any skier could wish for, but also small enough to be known as one of the Alps’ friendliest resorts with beautiful wood and stone chalets, this resort is a perfect choice for couples and families wanting to spend some quality time together in a picturesque setting.
Skiing and snowboarding in La Rosière
Due to it's high altitude, the La Rosière-Espace San Bernardo ski area has record levels of snowfall with it's ski season starting in December and running until the end of April. Its sunny, wide open slopes are snow-sure with the main lifts and pistes all radiating out directly from the centre of resort. Within the ski area, you'll find there is a mix of gentle blue runs, cruisy reds and tough blacks plus some renowned off-piste areas - so you're really spoilt for choice. The ski resort also caters for boarders, with a lot of free-riding and a snow park well set up for beginners and intermediates. New for this winter season the Dahu draglift has been updated to a four seater chairlift, this gives beginners easier access to two green slopes - Dahu and Cabri, and two blue slopes - Gelinotte and Marmottons. Skiers can also join onto the Plan du Repos chairlift and access the wider San Bernardo area.
