About Residence Le Britania (La Tania)

If you’re a duo or a small family ready to discover what the Three Valleys has to offer, Le Britania is your perfect mountain base. The apartments are naturally light, bright and airy, from where you’ll love soaking up the incredible balcony views together. Once the skis are tucked away, head to reception to grab some board games for a competitive games night in.

It doesn’t get much better than ski-in, ski-out access. Step out the door, click into your bindings and head straight for the snow. Ski down to the La Tania cable car, your gateway to the huge Three Valleys ski area. Whilst La Tania provides an exciting range of slopes, the Three Valleys playground awaits, with Courchevel just a short ski away. For a more relaxed vibe, hop on the residence's complimentary ski shuttle, which runs hourly between Courchevel and La Tania. 

Swing by the Sherpa supermarket on the ground floor to stock up on post-ski snacks, or grab that essential chairlift granola bar on your way out. On nights when you'd like to treat yourself to an evening meal out, a quick stroll leads you into the La Tania village centre, where you'll find a vibrant mix of bars and restaurants. Experience world-class Alpine dining at the Michelin-guide Restaurant Le Farçon, or keep it casual at La Ferme de la Tania. Best of all, you'll pass a cosy creperie and pub on your ski home - perfect for a cheeky après-ski drink and a sweet treat before you even reach your door.

One bedroom apartments are around 28m² and sleep four people. These apartments have one twin bedroom, a living area, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a separate WC. There's a daybed and a pull-out bed in the living room suitable for two children.

  • There is a traffic light system in the Tarantaise Valley controlling traffic and stopping cars and coaches sitting in places where rocks could fall, and to make snow clearing easier when snowing

Please note that transfer times may vary depending on weather conditions and traffic, particularly during peak season and French school holidays (French school holidays span 18 Dec 26 - 03 Jan 27, 06 Feb - 07 Mar 27 and 03 - 25 Apr 27).

Travel by train

We also have the Eurostar Snow Train which is bookable for 7 nights to Courchevel, from London St Pancras. Available between 20 December and 28 March 2026.

This is a train that departs and returns Saturdays with a much shorter transfer of 45 minutes from Moutiers railway station. Add an extra 10 minutes if staying in Courchevel 1850.

Discover Courchevel

Courchevel is truly a world class ski resort, located in the renowned Three Valleys Ski Area; with over 600km of slopes you won't be short of pistes to explore during your holiday. Snow cover is more or less guaranteed throughout the winter season given the altitude of the resort. We have accommodation in three of the six villages, plus a chalet in La Tania, so there's plenty of options. Whether you have been skiing for decades or this is your first time on the slope you will enjoy the diversity of the runs throughout Courchevel itself and in the wider ski area.

Things to do in Courchevel

This state-of-the-art pool and spa center is a brilliant way to take a day off from skiing and rest your legs. Perfect for the whole family, the swimming area has a children’s play pool, two large pools, diving boards and slides. There is also a mini wave pool to test your surf skills. Payable locally.

Swap your skis for a set of skates and enjoy the indoor ice skating rink which is open daily throughout the season. You can also watch ice hockey matches throughout the winter. Payable locally.

Courchevel lets you walk into the heart of its unspoiled natural environment with 11 snowshoeing itineraries which are categorised from green to black, just like the ski runs. Whether you’re an occasional rambler or a hard-core hiker, there are snowshoeing itineraries for all abilities. Payable locally.

Race down the 3km toboggan run in Courchevel Moriond (1650) it is incredible fun for the whole family. You can also whizz down the 2km long sledge run in Courchevel in both day and night. Payable locally.

This is a great opportunity to experience the mountain in a different way. Once the ski area and lifts have closed for the day head on a guided snowmobile expedition around the snowy landscape. Payable locally. 

Take to the skies and experience the mountains from above, an experienced guide will take you to new heights where you glide over the stunning mountain landscape. Payable locally.

If you don't fancy gliding through the air, you can go on a hot air balloon flight and admire the Alps from above.  The balloons tend to come from the Altiport of Courchevel 1850, and take you on an hour tour of the mountains. Payable locally.

For an activity which doesn't involve skiing, snowboarding or après, head to the bowling alley at the Forum for a game or two. There is also a bar and restaurant onsite, as well as billiards and arcade games to keep you entertained. Payable locally.
