The family run Hotel Somont benefits from having a great location, snap on your skis and cruise down the short blue run into Selva which gives you access to the wider Dolomites Ski Area, alternatively it is just a 300 metre walk to the centre where you can find a range of shops, bars and cafes. The hotel also benefits from having a lovely spa area with an indoor pool and range of saunas.

Each room in the Somont is unique, furnished in a modern Alpine style with homely touches and cosy decor throughout. Many of the rooms feature a balcony with a mountain view, so you can enjoy fabulous views of the Sassolungo and the nearby slopes.
The food is something to look forward to, too. Fuel up for a day on the mountain at the varied breakfast buffet, and enjoy a delicious evening meal when you return. Ski in, ski out
The charming hotel benefits from having a piste side location, start your day by heading down the short Freina piste down into the center of Selva and take your pick between heading up the Costabella chairlift for access to Alta Badia including Covara & Colfosco, and La Villa and or head up the Ciampinoi gondola for access to Ortisei, Alpe d'Suisi and Val di Fassa.
You are also just a short walk from the center of Selva Val Gardena, where you can find plenty of lively bars, a range of shops and the ice rink.
Soothing spa and relaxation
After a day of alpine adventures, return back to the hotel and enjoy a moment of peace in the spa area. Featuring an indoor pool heated to a lovely 31 degrees, a jacuzzi, and a variety of different saunas - relax in the Finnish sauna, soothe any aches in the infrared sauna or unwind in the Turkish steam bath. There is also a range of relaxation areas throughout the wellness area too.
