About Hotel Alpina Deluxe Resort

At the Alpina Deluxe Resort, opulence meets the rugged beauty of the Alps. Sitting in the quiet village of Obergurgl, the hotel is 2,000 metres above sea level and offers a luxurious Alpine escape.

After an action-packed day, the 1,300-square-metre spa complex beckons. It has a modern gym, large indoor pool, and tranquil whirlpools. In the sauna area, there are nude and clothed saunas and steam rooms, and there are plenty of places to relax in peace, including a quiet room with waterbeds and hanging chairs. The sun terrace provides a serene spot to soak up the sun and take in impressive mountain views.

Gourmet dining is on the menu - tantalise your taste buds with delicious dishes carefully crafted using locally sourced produce. In the morning a large breakfast buffet sets you up for the day with live cooking station, and options to suit every palette. In the evenings, tuck into a gourmet four-course meal with salad and cheese buffet and the friendly staff will help with great wine suggestions to go with your meal.

For all the luxury, there's still a family-friendly feel here. The exceptional kids' facilities ensure all ages are entertained, featuring table football, painting, a bouldering wall, and a vast 350-square-metre play area.

Obergurgl sits at the end of Ötztal, the longest valley in the Tyrol. With 1,950 metres of altitude under its belt, this is the spot for high alpine walking holidays in cooler summer climes – often a relief from the warmer summers below. This is a region shaped by the Ice Age, with towering mountain peaks, glacial valleys carved into the rock and icy rivers which flow from the glaciers. It's the perfect terrain for adventuring and there are hundreds of kilometres’ worth of trails, plus rafting rivers, climbing routes and heady via ferrata.
