About Hotel Cinque Terre

Hotel Cinque Terre is a great base for your seaside walking holiday. With easy beach access and good public transport links, you could spend your whole holiday exploring and relaxing. In under five minutes you can get to Monterosso train station, which is a great launching pad for heading to other Cinque Terre towns such as Vernazza, Levanto and  La Spezia. This is where you'll find some stunning walking areas, lush green hills and sea-view trails.

Right on the Cinque Terre's coast, you can walk to the beach in under a minute from the hotel. Hop out of bed in the morning, throw on your swimming costume and amble down to take a dip in that early morning sea atmosphere. There's a hotel discount for use of the nearby private beach services including deck chair, umbrella, pedalo and canoe rental.

Things to do in Cinque Terre

If you're staying in Monterosso you can't miss the famous beach, studded with bright green and orange umbrellas- make sure you book a sunbed in advance, they book up quickly!

If you want to get away from the crowds, rent a boat for the day and admire the rocky Cinque Terre coastline from a different perspective. This is particularly special if you head out at sunset - what a stunning way to end the day.

Explore Portofino for a day, walk up to the Church of San Giorgio, have a lunchtime aperitivo by the harbour or explore the rustic streets, dipping in and out of art galleries and outdoor sculpture gardens. You'll head into Portofino and return at the end of the day by public boat.
