Hotel Catullo is located in Sirmione's colourful pedestrianised centre right on the lakefront. The hotel's lakeside terrace is one of the best places to watch the sunset in Sirmione. It's an easy walk from the ferry port and a longstanding favourite of ours.

Zell am See, Austria

The pretty Hotel Fish'Inn (formerly Hotel Fischerwirt) is nestled in the bustling, traffic-free medieval old town of Zell am See with a panoramic roof terrace from which to enjoy the view. It's perfect for foodies and you can enjoy delicious Austrian dishes, as well as frequent themed evenings.

St. Anton, Austrian Tyrol, Austria

The popular Hotel Arlberg is set in a quiet area, a short walk to the village centre and lifts. Take a dip in the indoor pool and enjoy a little relaxation time in the spa. The homely bedrooms and the cosy bar and stube are designed in classic Tyrolean style.

Zell am See, Austria

The traditional and elegant Hotel Berner sits in an elevated position above Zell Am See. It has spectacular lake views and is just 400 metres from the City Xpress gondola. After a day in the mountains, cool off in the outdoor pool or relax with a drink on the terrace.

Lenno, Lake Como, Italy

Hotel Lenno's right on the lake, so it's easy to find a spot with a nice view and settle down with a good book. It's in the centre of Lenno so it's just a short walk from the local amenities and the ferry port.

Meet Walter Ingham The man with a passion for the great outdoors

Credited as the man who took Britain skiing, it didn’t take Walter Ingham long to realise his passion for the mountains went beyond skiing. In fact Walter’s passion was for all that the fresh air, stunning views and peaceful scenery had to offer when he was out in the mountains.

A few years after creating the Inghams company, Walter expanded from offering not only skiing holidays, but walking holidays too. Walter offered these throughout the summer months and today, Inghams carries on his enjoyment of walking by making sure you have the opportunity to walk to the best view points across Europe too.
