Family skiing FAQs

How do I plan a family Ski holiday? - Firstly, it is best to check your children's term dates, then it is advisable to look at the country you ideally want to visit compared to the airport you wish to depart from. It is always best to scope out the types of accommodation in your desired destination to make sure there are family friendly options. We would suggest using our Search Bar at the top of our website where you can search by Destination, Date, Guests and Airport.

What do I pack for a family? - Lots of layers, keeping warm is all about layering up. We have a great Insider's Guide where you can get a more in-depth understanding of what is needed while skiing.

What to do as a family of new skiers? - We would certainly recommend booking yourself some lessons with the local ski schools, children and adults alike and to also make use of the practice parks and play areas.

Can parents have adult ski time only? - You can make the most of on-site ski schools, activity groups and creches at many resorts so that you can have time to ski freely or enjoy a leisurely lunch.
