On the edge of Zürs town centre in a quiet location, the Hotel Edelweiss is an eclectic hotel with great access to the slopes. The family-run hotel has a traditional atmosphere that you would expect from an Austrian hotel with colourful interior design. 

You will be based just 150 metres from the nearest lifts and you have access to the whole Arlberg Ski Area, the largest interlinked ski area in Austria. The bus stops right outside the hotel and you are able to explore all Zürs has to offer in your central location.

Choose from a selection of rooms from the Double Superior up to the Superior Suite which can sleep up to five. All rooms are uniquely decorated with bold patterns and colourful designs. 

The Hotel Edelweiss has a small wellness area with sauna, steam room and cold tub to enjoy after a day on the slopes.

Rooms

Double Superior rooms are Austrian twins around 30m² and have a seating area and bath or shower. These rooms can sleep up to three.

Double Deluxe rooms are slightly larger at 35m² and can sleep up to four.

Junior Suite is 45m² and has a seating area, bath, and shower. They can sleep four using a double sofa bed.

Tower Rooms are even more spacious at 60m² with lots of windows to let in light. They have a bath or shower and can sleep up to four.

Superior Suite is the largest room at 70m² with separate living area, bath, and shower. They can sleep up to five.

Skiing and snowboarding in Zürs

Ski Zürs and join the famous White Ring Ski Circuit from Lech. From Zürs, the newly replaced Madlochbahn and Zugerbergbahn efficiently completes the White Ring Circuit loop up to Zug, where you can ski through scenic Oberlech down into Lech.

Your Arlberg lift pass also covers the resorts of St. Anton, St. Christoph and Stüben. The cableway link between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz closes the loop with St. Anton and St. Christoph and creates complete ski convenience giving you access to 304km interconnected pistes on the extensive Arlberg ski pass.

Nestling high up on the sunny side of the Flexen Pass, skiing holidays in Zürs also boast superb off piste opportunities and it is a popular base for heli-skiing.

Levels of tuition:

  • Beginner = never skied before
  • Level 1 = advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes 
  • Level 2 = low intermediate, snowplough turns and start to ski parallel
  • Level 3 = Good intermediate, Parallel turns 
  • Advanced = Fully confident on all slopes, looking to improve technique
