A firm favourite with our guests, the Crazy Reindeer Hotel perfectly balances the peace of Lapland and proximity to the slopes. Tucked away in a wooded spot, you're only 400m from the ski lifts and the centre of Levi village. Enjoy a scenic walk through a true winter wonderland, with the resort's best slopes and liveliest spots just minutes from your door. 

Unbuckle your ski boots and head straight for the wellness area to soothe tired muscles. Warm up in the bubbling Jacuzzi and find your zen in the steam room. For a deeper reset, the infrared sauna is designed to speed up recovery, so you'll hit the slopes with fresh energy every morning. Once you’re revived, grab a drink at the bar and swap stories about the day's best runs.

Perfect for families and groups, each room features a clean, Nordic-style design for relaxation. Choose from cosy rooms with private saunas or spacious family duplexes that sleep up to eight people. Your room will be in one of three buildings just a short walk from the main hotel hub, giving you a quiet space to recharge. Many rooms also offer a balcony - the perfect spot to take in the Arctic views after a day on the fells.

A hot and cold buffet breakfast is available each morning (Weekdays 7:30 - 10am and weekends 7.30 - 10.30am).

Each evening, you can enjoy a buffet-style three-course dinner, which is taken in the 'Taivas' Sky Restaurant. There is a wide choice of food available and this is usually open between 5pm - 8pm.

Enjoy a change of scenery with our Dine Around offer. You can choose to dine at any of the hotel's four à la carte restaurants and receive a 20% discount for adults or a 10% discount for children on a 3-course meal:

Crazy reindeer twin rooms are around 20m², sleeping two to three people. These rooms have twin beds, an additional single fold-out armchair bed, and a walk-in shower. Crazy Reindeer rooms are located in a separate building, 150 metres from the main reception building.  

Flying reindeer twin rooms are around 22m² and sleep two to three people. These rooms have twin beds, with the third bed being a single fold-out armchair or roll-away bed, and a bathtub, shower, and a balcony.  Flying Reindeer rooms are located in the main reception building. These rooms are also available for sole occupancy.

White reindeer twin rooms are around 24m² and sleep two to three people. These rooms have twin beds (the third bed is a single fold-out armchair bed) and a sauna. Located on the second floor of the main building, which is adjacent to the reception building and can be reached by an internal connection.

Family duplex rooms are around 32+12m² and sleep two to five people. These rooms have twin beds in the living area, an additional fold-out armchair bed, twin beds in the mezzanine with a sloping roof, an en-suite sauna, a shower, and a balcony. The rooms are located in a separate accommodation building, approximately 150 metres from the main building and reception. These rooms are on request, please call our Reservations team to book.

Family suites are around 47+30m² and sleep up to five adults and two children. The Family Suite is made up of a small double bedroom (120cm bed, suitable for one adult or two children), a twin bedroom, and twin beds in the mezzanine. There are two single sofa beds in the open-plan living area and kitchenette (equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kettle), two showers, two WCs, a drying closet, and a sauna. These rooms are located in a separate building with a connecting corridor to the main building. 

Each room must have an adult booked - children are not allowed to stay in a room without being accompanied by an adult. All beds are twin beds that may be pushed together. 

Annexes

The Crazy Reindeer annex (150m from the main reception building) is where the crazy reindeer twin rooms and family duplexes are located. 

The main reception building is where the flying reindeer (superior) twin rooms are located, and the white reindeer twin rooms are connected internally to the main reception building.

Levi's ski area is regarded as the best and most extensive in Finland and offers snow-sure, uncrowded skiing in an area of exceptional natural beauty. As the season starts in December and the polar nights approach, skiing takes place on the floodlit slopes. The whole ski area opens in mid February (approx. 17th) when the daylight hours start to increase and incredible skiing can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Once your enchanting journey comes to an end, cozy up by an open fire with a warm cup of berry juice and listen to heartwarming tales about the incredible huskies who made this magical ride possible.

  • This is a self‑driven husky safari. Each husky team is usually shared by two adults or one adult and two children: one adult will drive the sleigh, and the other(s) will ride as a passenger
  • Guests must be at least 18 years old and in good physical condition to drive the sled. It is not possible to arrange for a guide to drive the sled.
  • This excursion is available for children aged 4–12 years. All children will travel in a guide‑driven sled.
  • Children aged 3 years may participate only in the shorter 2 km husky safari. Infants under 2 years are not permitted on this activity.
  • Single riders who have booked a sharing husky‑sled option may be required to upgrade locally to a single‑driver sled if no sharing sleds are available.

A quintessential part of your Lapland visit is to experience is a reindeer sleigh ride. Visit an authentic reindeer farm and learn all about the reindeer. You will then be taken on a serene sleigh ride through snowy forests, guided by a Sami guide and their reindeer. The visit includes a farm visit where you can learn about the reindeer.
