The exhilarating 8-kilometre Grostè piste is especially popular, providing an exciting and varied descent framed by stunning mountain views. The steep and demanding runs around the Spinale and Grostè areas provide excellent opportunities for expert carving and fast descents. The black pistes, such as the Spinale Diretta and the steep sections of Grostè, deliver technical challenges with sharp gradients and varied terrain.

The Ursus Snowpark in the Grostè area is one of Europe’s largest and most popular, featuring over 40 features such as kickers, rails, boxes, and a boardercross course that cater to riders from beginners to experts. For those just starting out, the Mini Ursus Snowpark in the Pradalago area provides a friendly environment with gentle jumps and small boxes, perfect for building confidence.

The area boasts 22 km of cross-country ski runs at Campo Carlo Magno, with four loops of varying difficulty, catering to both beginners and seasoned experts.

The cross-country skiing centre at Malghette, near Campo Carlo Magno, is well-equipped and blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape. It includes rental shops, ski rooms, showers, and locker rooms.

Tuition information

  • Adult ski tuition runs Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm

  • Guests will be picked up by the ski school from their hotel and taken to the relevant ski school meeting point depending on their ability. The beginner's meeting point is at Patascos Magic Carpet. All other lessons meet at the top of the Pradalago cable car at refugio Viviani.
  • Group tuition need a minimum number of guests to take place. Very occasionally these numbers aren’t reached. If you have pre-booked tuition and this happens, the ski-school will do their best to offer private tuition to the value of what you had originally booked.
  • Private ski/ snowboard tuition available on request

 

Child/ teen tuition details

  • Lunch is included for all children. We offer tuition for complete beginners and for children who have skied before.
  • Beginners - For children who have never skied before, the morning will be spent learning how to ski. After lunch children will not ski but will take part in afternoon playtime. 
  • Skied before - Children who are not beginners will ski in both the morning and afternoon. Instructors will organise groups locally based on ability.
  • As lunch is included for all children, please make us aware of any dietary or medical requirements at time of booking as we will need to check the ski school can accommodate for these.

 

Levels of tuition:

  • Level 1 - advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes

Located just 20 minutes outside of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo offers a more laid-back, local atmosphere. Rest assured that you have access to the same expansive ski area by taking the gondola from the village into the mountains. Pinzolo boasts its own hidden gem of a ski area before seamlessly connecting to the wider region, making it perfect for those seeking quieter pistes at the beginning or end of the day. The final run back down into the village is a black slope, so if you've had your fill of skiing, why not stop for a drink at the top of the gondola station before taking the easy way back down the mountain.

For Winter 2024/25 Pinzolo upgraded the Pra Rodont lift to a new 10 person Gondola. For those brave enough, you can ride in a glass-floored gondola for a fully immersive experience. The redesign uses sustainable construction and has given the area an entirely new look, with new underground lift stations and a gourmet mountain hut with panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites. 

Madonna di Campiglio boasts a diverse culinary scene, ranging from Michelin-starred establishments to cosy alpine eateries. For fine dining, Dolomieu offers contemporary cuisine emphasising local ingredients with modern flair.

For a more casual atmosphere, Ristorante Le Roi is popular for its risottos and pizzas, often bustling with locals and visitors alike.

For pizza enthusiasts, Ristorante Pizzeria al Pappagallo serves thin-crust pizzas with a variety of toppings, including porcini mushrooms . On the slopes, Chalet Spinale offers dining at 2,100 meters, combining breath taking views with delicious cuisine.

The ice skating rink on the frozen pond in Conca Verde is a popular spot, open during the winter months when the ice forms naturally. Weekly courses and individual lessons are available for both children and adults, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.

The rink is open daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM, weather permitting.

Monte Spinale Toboggan Run is a popular run which starts at 2,070 meters and descends to 1,730 meters, covering a distance of 2.743 km with an altitude change of 340 meters. The average slope gradient is 12%, with a maximum of 18%, ensuring an exciting ride.

Toboggans and safety gear can be rented at Noleggio Des Alpes, located next to the base station of the Spinale gondola lift.
