About Hotel Zur Post

Hotel Zur Post is in a great location in the centre of the picturesque village of Alpbach. It's a traditional hotel full of original features and typical Austrian charm. There's a bus stop less than 100 metres from the hotel; from there, it's a short ride to the Wiedersbergerhorn lift, or you can head further afield to explore the rest of the region.

The cosy dining room feels like a hunter's lodge, with wood panelling and antlers on the walls. Breakfast is a feast for the taste buds. For Summer 25, the Hotel Zur Post will only be available on a bed and breakfast basis enabling you to eat out in the variety of Alpbach's restaurants. There is also the à la carte restaurant in the hotel which is open every day except Wednesdays serving seasonal produce, hearty home cooking, and regional recipes with an international twist.

The typically Tyrolean bedrooms are individually designed and carefully furnished - they're exactly the cosy retreat you'll want at the end of the day. To enjoy spectacular Alpbach views from the moment you wake up, opt for a room with a balcony.
