This traditional mountain village is set amidst spectacular scenery at the foot of the towering north face of the Eiger. Easy access via mountain train, gondola and cable-car to the ‘Jungfrau’ ski region including the pistes linking Kleine Scheidegg and Männlichen means that you can tackle the challenging Lauberhorn race run, have lunch in Wengen, and be home in time for tea. Or spend the day cruising the long red runs at ‘First’, Grindelwald’s own ski area. Non-skiers have fantastic winter walking possibilities with the non-skiers lift pass, whilst the friendly village has numerous shops, bars and cafés.

Local Lift Pass covers Wengen & Grindelwald only. Jungfrau Area Pass covers Mürren-Schilthorn region in addition. Non-skiers Pass covers consecutive days rail travel within the Jungfrau region (Supplements apply for Jungfraujoch (approx. Sfr60) and Schilthorn (approx. Sfr40) return, payable locally). Refundable deposit of approx. Sfr5 per person payable in resort for lift passes. Lift passes of 10 days and over and all non-skiers passes require a photo.
†Children under 6yrs go free on lifts if accompanied by a parent, but require a ‘piccolo pass’ if in ski school (approx. Sfr25 for 6 days - pay locally)
