These good value apartments provide access to some great spa facilities as well as a fantastic central location in the Bergers area of Alpe d'Huez. This traditional wood and stone residence features renovated apartments that create a modern yet cosy atmosphere with all the facilities you'd need for a week in the mountains. 

Central location

The Les Bergers Apartments are in the Bergers area of Alpe d'Huez. These apartments are perfect for keen skiers and snowboarders as they are located only 100 metres away from the closest ski lift - making it really easy to head up onto the mountain each morning. The ski area has a 250km of slopes, whether you're a beginner or an advanced skier, there are plenty of slopes for you to explore. These studio apartments are also located right in the centre of the resort. The shopping arcade is just a short walk away from the residence, where you'll find various shops, including a supermarket, some clothing stores, and ski rental shops. Plus, there are a few cafes and bars to grab a bite to eat or an after ski après drink.

Sit back and relax

There'll be plenty of opportunities relax during your stay in Les Bergers Apartments. The complex has a heated outdoor pool, sauna and relaxation area available for you to use and is a great place to unwind and recharge your muscles after a day on the slopes.

The apartment complex also features a communal lounge and bar area, which is a great place to meet your friends and family for a drink and a game of pool in the evenings. Or sit by the fireplace and warm up with a hot drink before heading to bed.

Balcony views

What better way to start your morning then with breakfast and a cup of coffee paired with views of the snowy landscape? Each studio apartment has a balcony that provides great, unobstructed views of the resort and surrounding mountain range so you can maximise your time in the outdoors as soon as you wake up.

Alpe d'Huez is a lively ski resort and its position will make any skier or snowboarder happy. It has the double benefit of lying on high sunny plateau and being surrounded by an amazing snow bowl, with miles of varied and enjoyable runs and off piste opportunities. 

Skiing and snowboarding in Alpe d'Huez

This resort has everything to please no matter what your skiing ability is from wide open blues and greens to challenging black runs. There's 249km of skiing, giving you endless opportunities to explore and visit the different villages without feeling that you are doing the same run more than once. The altitude of the resort means that there is an excellent snow record, with the Sarenne Glacier and over 900 snow cannons, even late season skiing will have great conditions.

The Pic Blanc summit at 3,330m affords breath-taking views across the whole of the Southern Alps and provides a wonderful starting point for the Sarenne descent - one of the longest black runs in the world at fully 16km from top to bottom! Alpe d'Huez is ideal for snowboarders, providing two well maintained snow parks and plenty of boarder friendly cable cars and chair lifts.

Bars and restaurants in Alpe d'Huez

With its lively apres scene, Alpe d'Huez has plenty of bars both on and off the mountain to keep you entertained. Head to the legendary La Folie Douce for an afternoon of dancing on the tables, if you prefer something a bit more laid back Smithys Tavern often has live music and streams live sports events. 

On the food front, there is a wide variety of restaurants suitable for all tastes and budgets. Enjoy restaurants serving regional specialities, cosy pizzerias or fine dining establishments.

Reception

Reception is open 7 days a week and is open between 9am - 12pm and 5pm - 7pm with the exception of Saturday when reception is open 9am - 12pm, 2pm - 8pm.

Rooms

Studio apartments with sleeping alcove are 28 to 32m² and sleeping two to four people. These apartments have an open plan living room and kitchen with one day bed and one pull out bed that is suitable for children. There is an additional sleeping alcove that has either bunk beds that are suitable for children or two standard single beds. 

End of stay cleaning is included except the kitchen.
