About Hotel Chamois d'Or

If you're looking for a luxurious base for your next French ski holiday, the Chamois d'Or is a fantastic choice.  From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel the warmth of a traditional alpine chalet. The design is all about rustic charm, using natural wood and stone to make the entire hotel feel grounded, inviting, and full of character.

If your goal is to squeeze every last minute out of your lift pass, you really couldn't ask for a better spot. The Chamois d’Or sits right at the bottom of the slopes, which means no trekking through town with heavy gear. You have instant access to the lifts, so you can be one of the first ones on the mountain each morning and ski right back to the hotel when you're finished for the day.

After a day on the slopes, there’s nothing better than swapping your ski boots for slippers and relaxing in a NUXE spa. Whether you fancy a dip in the indoor pool or need a massage to soothe those achy ski legs, the wellness facilities here are top-tier. If you'd prefer to unwind with a drink, head to the chic bar for a cocktail or two. Picture yourself sinking into a plush armchair by a roaring fireplace after a day in the cold – it’s the perfect spot to swap stories and truly relax.

After a day of exploring the sunny slopes of Alpe d'Huez, make the most of the Nuxe Spa area. Have a dip in the pool, unwind in the whirlpool or relax and soothe any aches in the sauna and steam room. For the ultimate treat, a range of massages and treatments are available for a local fee.
