Residence Daria-I Nor is a five star residence that's in the centre of the l'Eclose District of Alpe d'Huez and there's direct access to ski lifts and endless skiing possibilities. The residence is cosy and luxurious, bringing comfort to each of the 48 apartments.

Fully furnished

Each apartment is well designed and spacious, with everything you need. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is perfect for spending quality time together and every apartment has a balcony to appreciate the amazing views around you. Being in an apartment allows you to be flexible with your meals and being a minutes walk from the resort centre provides you with so much choice. If you want to give local cuisine a go yourself, there's raclette, fondue and grill sets available to borrow for free at reception.

Fantastic location

The Residence Daria-I Nor has an excellent location in the L'Eclose area of Alpe d'Huez, giving you convenient access to the Alpe Express gondola and the 250km of slopes in the domain. The ideal location is only a short walk into the resort centre where there are a number of bars and restaurants, as well as the fabulous sport facilities including an ice rink and sports area - perfect for when its a bit too snowy to go skiing.

Unwind and relax

The spa area of the residence is the perfect place to wind down after a full day on the slopes, with an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fitness room. There is also a ski room located in the residence, allowing you to leave your equipment safely in private lockers with boot warmers which are individually assigned to each apartment.

Alpe d'Huez is a lively ski resort and its position will make any skier or snowboarder happy. It has the double benefit of lying on high sunny plateau and being surrounded by an amazing snow bowl, with miles of varied and enjoyable runs and off piste opportunities.

Skiing and snowboarding in Alpe d'Huez

This resort has everything to please no matter what your skiing ability is from wide open blues and greens to challenging black runs. There's 249km of skiing, giving you endless opportunities to explore and visit the different villages without feeling that you are doing the same run more than once. The altitude of the resort means that there is an excellent snow record, with the Sarenne Glacier and over 900 snow cannons, even late season skiing will have great conditions.

The Pic Blanc summit at 3,330m affords breath-taking views across the whole of the Southern Alps and provides a wonderful starting point for the Sarenne descent - one of the longest black runs in the world at fully 16km from top to bottom! Alpe d'Huez is ideal for snowboarders, providing two well maintained snow parks and plenty of boarder friendly cable cars and chair lifts.

Bars and restaurants in Alpe d'Huez

With its lively apres scene, Alpe d'Huez has plenty of bars both on and off the mountain to keep you entertained. Head to the legendary La Folie Douce for an afternoon of dancing on the tables, if you prefer something a bit more laid back Smithys Tavern often has live music and streams live sports events.

On the food front, there is a wide variety of restaurants suitable for all tastes and budgets. Enjoy restaurants serving regional specialities, cosy pizzerias or fine dining establishments.

Meals

The Residence Daria-I Nor is offered on either a self catering board basis or half board basis.

Self catering guests will not have any food or drink included with their stay, but you'll find there there are plenty of restaurants in the centre of Alpe d'Huez serving delicious dishes often influenced by the region and the local produce. If you'd prefer to prepare your own meals, there is a supermarket also located in the resort centre.

For half board guests, bread and pastries are available and delivered to reception on request.

Dinner will be served in the residence onsite restaurant and bar - Restaurant La Table du Daria in the Hotel Daria-I-Nor, which serves traditional dishes inspired by the Savoyard region. Or if you would like to switch it up one evening, you can dine in the L'Améthyste restaurant - this gastronomic restaurant serves sophisticated and refined dishes and is the perfect option if you'd like to treat yourself and dine out.
