The Hotel Daria-I Nor has been tastefully decorated and provides an ambience of luxury, well being and relaxation. Located in the l'Eclose area of Alpe d'Huez, the hotel couldnt have a better location - the slopes, ski lifts and resort centre are practically on your doorstep.

Fantastic ski in, ski out location

The location of the Hotel Daria-I Nor couldn't be better. Situated in the l'Eclose area of Alpe d'Huez the Daria-I Nor offers the convenience of having ski in, ski out access - the hotel has direct access to the Alpe Express where you'll have access to the sunny slopes of Alpe d'Huez.

The resort centre is only a short walk away where there are a number of bars and restaurants, as well as the fabulous sport facilities including an ice rink and sports area - perfect for after ski activities or if you're not skiing one day.

Unwind and relax

After a day of exploring the ski area, make the most of the hotels own extensive spa and wellness area. With a hot tub, steam room, saunas and even an ice fountain - there’s plenty on offer to help you unwind and relax. Enjoy the winter sun on the lovely terrace, cosy up for an evening in and enjoy the bar and lounge area with incredible views from the bay windows, or enjoy a drink in front of the fire with occasional live music throughout the season.

Alpe d'Huez is a lively ski resort and its position will make any skier or snowboarder happy. It has the double benefit of lying on high sunny plateau and being surrounded by an amazing snow bowl, with miles of varied and enjoyable runs and off piste opportunities.

Skiing and snowboarding in Alpe d'Huez

This resort has everything to please no matter what your skiing ability is from wide open blues and greens to challenging black runs. There's 249km of skiing, giving you endless opportunities to explore and visit the different villages without feeling that you are doing the same run more than once. The altitude of the resort means that there is an excellent snow record, with the Sarenne Glacier and over 900 snow cannons, even late season skiing will have great conditions.

The Pic Blanc summit at 3,330m affords breath-taking views across the whole of the Southern Alps and provides a wonderful starting point for the Sarenne descent - one of the longest black runs in the world at fully 16km from top to bottom! Alpe d'Huez is ideal for snowboarders, providing two well maintained snow parks and plenty of boarder friendly cable cars and chair lifts.

With its lively apres scene, Alpe d'Huez has plenty of bars both on and off the mountain to keep you entertained. Head to the legendary La Folie Douce for an afternoon of dancing on the tables, if you prefer something a bit more laid back Smithys Tavern often has live music and streams live sports events.

On the food front, there is a wide variety of restaurants suitable for all tastes and budgets. Enjoy restaurants serving regional specialities, cosy pizzerias or fine dining establishments.

Superior Rooms sleep three people and are around 29m². There's an additional armchair style sofa bed, suitable for a child up to 16 years old.

Mezzanine Suites can sleep up to four people and are around 42m². These suites have a master bedroom on the lower floor and a living area, with a sofa bed, on the top floor. There's a bathroom with a separate bath and shower.

Family Rooms sleep four people and are around 55m². These rooms are made up of interconnecting Club and Superior room each with their own bathroom. These rooms are on request, please call us to book.

The Hotel Daria-I Nor is offered on a bed and breakfast board basis. It is possible to upgrade to being on a 'Half Board' basis which includes breakfast and dinner, drinks not included.

Please note that half board is compulsory for selected weeks, which are 23rd and 30th December and the 10th and 17th February.

The extensive breakfast buffet has everything you need for a nutritional start to the day, choose from a variety of sweet and savoury options. Breakfast is served each morning from 7am to 10:30am.

You can enjoy your evening meal with waiter service and choice of menu in the La Table Du Daria restaurant which serves traditional and local products. Earlier meal times for children are available in the restaurant.
