St. Moritz is a name that’s long been associated with luxury and style, but in the summer months, this famous resort offers a more laid-back, outdoorsy side. It swaps ski jackets for hiking boots, welcoming walkers, cyclists and sun-seekers to its mountain trails, lakes and sun-soaked terraces.

You’ll find over 580 kilometres of hiking paths ranging from gentle lakeside strolls to challenging summit routes, plus a huge network of mountain biking trails and cable cars to help you reach the higher viewpoints with ease. Dining here is as much a highlight as the views - think sunny terraces serving everything from traditional Swiss dishes to high-end international cuisine. Be sure to try regional specialities like capuns or Bündner Nusstorte (a delicious nut-filled pastry).
