Nestled in quaint gardens and just one kilometre from the historical centre of Sirmione, Hotel Du Lac has been a long standing favourite of Ingham’s guests. This charming, family run property boasts superb levels of service in a tranquil setting with unrivalled views of the lake and harbour as well as private beach access.
With a homely and comfortable feel, the décor is wonderfully traditional with simple yet stylish furnishings throughout. Rooms here are bright and spacious with good amenities and offer partial views of the lake or gardens. Each morning you can enjoy a delicious continental breakfast buffet of fresh pastries, cakes, breads and cold cuts along with eggs cooked to order. During the day, out by the gorgeous pool area and overlooking the lake, you can grab a light lunch from the cafe if a stroll into town doesn't take your fancy. Think along the lines of refreshing cold dishes, salads, spaghetti and hot sandwiches (payable locally). As night falls, you can enjoy a three course dinner of local cuisine prepared lovingly and meticulously by the chefs, with dishes such as fresh pastas, risottos, local dishes and sharing platters, there will be something here to cater for every palate.
Out in the gardens you'll find a large pool overlooking the lake and plenty of sun loungers and parasols which are designated to hotel guests only. From here, you can kick back and relax in the crisp pool water as boats cruise over Lake Garda's cyan waters just metres away. For those wanting to take a dip in the lake itself, the picturesque promenade just off the Du Lac's sun bathing platform is the perfect place to take the plunge. On the days you choose to stroll into town, a maze of quaint, cobbled lands await you boasting boutique shops, restaurants and cafes and of course, all important ice cream shops, the most famous of which 'Cremeria Bulian' is located right on the town square.
