Discover La Plagne’s Villages

La Plagne is made up of several distinct areas, each offering something a little different. Here’s a quick overview to help you decide which one suits your ski holiday style:

Plagne Centre - The beating heart of the resort, with direct access to a huge network of pistes and plenty of shops, restaurants, and après options. Ideal for first-timers and families who want everything close by.

Belle Plagne - High-altitude, ski-in, ski-out convenience meets charming chalet-style architecture. A great choice for keen skiers and couples looking for a balance of atmosphere and easy slope access.

Plagne 1800 - A pretty, tree-lined village with a traditional chalet feel. Slightly quieter than Plagne Centre but still well connected, it’s perfect for families and groups who enjoy a relaxed mountain setting.

Plagne Bellecôte - A hub for skiers who want quick access to the glacier and great snow conditions all season long. Expect a lively atmosphere, great for groups and younger travellers.

Aime 2000 - Sitting high above the resort, Aime 2000 offers stunning panoramic views and doorstep skiing. It’s ideal for those who prioritise snow reliability and modern convenience.

Champagny-en-Vanoise - Located on the southern side of the mountain, this charming, authentic village has a traditional feel and direct access to some beautiful tree runs. Perfect for those who love peace, nature, and mountain culture.

Easy Access to the Slopes

La Plagne is known for its excellent ski connections and snow-sure conditions. The resort’s extensive lift system links all the villages, with fast chairlifts and gondolas ensuring smooth access to more than 225 kilometres of local pistes, plus a seamless connection to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express.

Many of La Plagne’s villages offer ski-in, ski-out accommodation, making it easy to get straight onto the slopes each morning. Wide, gentle pistes are ideal for beginners and intermediates, while confident skiers can explore the glacier above Plagne Bellecôte, venture off-piste in Champagny-en-Vanoise, or take the famous Paradiski circuit for a full day’s adventure.
