Two free ski buses depart directly from the hotel, one taking you to the closest Horbergbahn lift and one to the Zillertal Area. Both areas are included on your Zillertal Superski pass.

If you want to explore further afield, the train station is just a five minute walk away with access to Hintertux and Hoch Zillertal, both included on your Zillertal Superski pass. With 548 kms of skiing and the Hintertux glacier on your lift pass, you will be spoilt for choice.

Alpenhotel Ramsauerhof offers a daily breakfast to kick start your day. Half board is provided five days a week, meaning on a Friday and Saturday you are free to explore the great restaurants in Ramsau or Mayrhofen. 

Start your day with a Tyrolean breakfast buffet featuring local produce such as bacon, eggs, yogurt, and dairy products

For dinner, on half board, you can enjoy a three course menu with a choice of main course, which can also be served as a buffet

With over 500 km of slopes across four ski areas and the Hintertux glacier, all connected by free bus or train, there's plenty to explore in Mayrhofen. The four areas cover Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 and are all accessible on your Zillertal Superski Pass. If you’re looking for a rustic traditional village with modern lifts and access to the largest ski area in Austria, then Mayrhofen is the place for you. There is a long stretch of bars, restaurants and shops so you will find plenty to explore.

On the famous Zillertal Ski Area you’ll have 548km of varied pistes. Be sure to explore Hintertux glacier, we can’t get enough of the powder skiing and sweeping views. You’re above the clouds here meaning you’ll avoid any poor weather further down the mountain. You can also try Austria’s steepest run at a 78% gradient, the Hara Kiri. There is plenty for beginners too, with learning areas, quality teaching and cruisy blue runs.

Mayrhofen is a heavyweight resort for skiers, boarders and freestylers. If you’re a freestyler you won’t want to miss a chance to practice your tricks one of Europe’s largest snow parks, the Penken park. You’ll find it on the sunny side of the Hornberg mountain – split into six separate areas, it even has its own chairlift.
