About MAD Mount Hotel

Located just steps away from the Nendaz telecabine, this hotel is in a central location in Nendaz, giving you easy access to all the resort amenities and the 4 Valleys ski area. Built in a modern style with cabin style accommodation it is a fantastic choice for your next Swiss ski holiday. 

The terrace bar allows you to appreciate the outdoors from the warmth of the inside. The large open windows give panoramic views of the surrounding mountains which are the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with local cocktails and wine. Plus after a day on the slopes you can enjoy a drink outside and admire the views of the surrounding mountain peaks with a cocktail or local beer. 

Throughout the hotel, you'll find various notes to the great outdoors. All of the bedrooms are built in a cabin-inspired design, using locally sourced wood from Swiss forests and natural materials - even the floors are made from 98% organic and recyclable materials! During your stay, you'll also benefit from the hotel's natural insulation, so not only will you be getting warm and toasty in the comforts of a log cabin bedroom, but you'll also feel great doing it.

  • In the hotel's on-site restaurant an a la carte dinner menu is available each evening. Things to do in Nendaz

Over 3 kilometres long, this sledge run is separated from the main ski area and offers a different kind of slope fun for all ages - and the best part is you can take the chair lift up and come down as many times as you like.

Don't feel like skiing down one of the most notorious slopes in the 4 Vallées? No worries, you can fly down it instead! Take off from the top of the Mont-Fort, at an altitude of 3,300 metres, towards Col des Gentianes. Descending at speeds of up to 100 kilometres per hour over snow-covered mountains and the Tortin glacier.

If you'd rather explore the mountains on foot than on skis, there are plenty of winter trails to choose from. Pop on a pair of snowshoes and wander through peaceful forests, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. Trails range from 30 minutes to three and a half hours, so whether you're after a gentle stroll or a more active outing, there's something to suit every pace.

Lace up your skates and take to the ice at the resort’s central rink in Plaine des Ecluses, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Glide around the rink at your own pace, try your hand at figure skating, or enjoy a friendly game of ice hockey.

During the season, the rink transforms into a lively dance floor, combining music and ice-skating under the glow of strobe lights. These vibrant evenings offer fun for all ages, whether you're a seasoned skater or just looking to enjoy something a little different.

Take to the skies and experience the ski area at a higher altitude than the peaks with Element Air. You'll soar over the Rhone Valley and have exceptional panoramic views of the snow-covered mountain peaks.

Located in Tracouet, snowtubing is a great activity for children and parents alike. Grab a snowtube, take the dedicated drag-lift to the top, and enjoy the thrill of speeding down the slope.
